Note 6 – Part 3 (continued from same day) (Navigation forward and backward at bottom of screen)
As discussed in the prophetic word from 2012, I believe that many have placed most (or all) of the focus on the aspect of the “great exchange” (that happens when we come to Christ) that deals with God’s promises/blessings to us, and have placed little (or none) of the focus on the aspect of the exchange that deals with how our lives are to be totally surrendered to Him. I believe that, as a result of this imbalanced focus, many have fallen away due to these kinds of unexpected offenses with the Lord (like John was experiencing) that resulted when they didn’t see things turn out exactly as they were believing.
I felt these 3 precise confirmations of this passage/message were a very specific response to our prayers. I believe He was answering our questions about the full implications of the things He’s been saying and about whether He’s truly telling us we all need to be prepared to even be martyrs if it comes to that. In response to those questions, He responded and gave multiple confirmations of the message, “Blessed is the one who is not offended because of Me.” In saying this, He is warning of the danger of becoming offended with Him in these last days if following Him indeed costs us all (as in the prophetic word from 2012 and the repetition of the word about Pilate).
We have heard reports of believers in other nations who were only ever prepared to be rescued OUT of all tribulation (through the rapture)…but were never prepared to endure THROUGH it. Therefore, when horrible persecution began in those nations (which is definitely a form of tribulation, even if not part of the actual “7-year Tribulation” of Revelation), many became disillusioned, believed the enemy’s lies that the Word was not true (since things weren’t happening as they’d been taught they would), and fell away as a result of this “offense” against their expectations. John also expected to be rescued OUT of his situation, and his disillusionment at having to endure THROUGH had caused even him to question his faith. Therefore, regardless of what any of us may believe about the timing of the rapture in the order of end-time events, I pray we will all not only be prepared to meet the Lord whenever He comes (watching and continually praying to be counted worthy to escape – Luke 21:36), but that we will also be prepared (have the “GUTS,” allow His iron to enter our souls and become spiritually “TOUGH” enough) to endure THROUGH anything that may come before He returns to gather us to Him. If things don’t go exactly as we’ve anticipated and expected, and we have not set our minds and prepared ourselves mentally, emotionally, and spiritually to be ready and willing to pay any price to remain faithful to Him, we would be at much greater risk of being among those who become disillusioned, offended, and fall away.
He also gave us this message 3 times that same week (once, a word about v. 29, and twice He gave us verses 28-29 in their entirety, along with other parts of that chapter):
“And do not [for a moment] be frightened or intimidated in anything by your opponents and adversaries, for such [constancy and FEARLESSness] will be a clear sign (proof and seal) to them of [their impending] destruction, but [a sure token and evidence] of your deliverance and salvation, and that from God. For you have been granted [the privilege] for Christ’s sake not only to believe in (adhere to, rely on, and trust in) Him, but also TO SUFFER IN HIS BEHALF.” Philippians 1:28-29
Through this, He again emphasized His call to become FEARLESS. He also reminded us that part of being His disciple (though a part we don’t hear too much about) is that we are granted the PRIVILEGE to SUFFER in His behalf. By the time He gave this to us twice that week we were amazed, but when it came up the 3rd time we were convinced beyond all doubt that He was truly giving us this word. He also continued the confirmations of Hebrews 11:1 mentioned in note 5 of this series (parts 1-4 of Taking Back Lost Territory…).
In addition, during this time, our worship pastor (who, as I’ve mentioned previously often introduces songs with the exact words/themes the Lord’s been speaking to us) began having us sing the “Withholding Nothing” Worship Medley, which has many confirmations of these precise words and themes in it:
As we continued to pray about these things, March 1, we felt the Lord brought additional confirmation through Ed Traut’s devo:
~~~~~~~~~~~~
“My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.” John 17:15 NIV
- “It is not God’s will for us to become isolated from this natural world.
- Jesus prayed that God the Father would protect us from the devil or any attacks we might encounter.
- It was His heart that we endure and persevere THROUGH situations in this world and be protected THROUGH it by the Lord.”
“Prayer: I thank you Lord that you are not removing me from my difficulties and challenges in this world but that you are protecting me from the enemy and helping me get THROUGH them with great success. I praise you that you are my Helper and I will see your glory today. Amen.” ~ Ed Traut (Copyright, Prophetic Life Ministries)
My intention is not to assume or determine what Ed Traut believes about the rapture through this message (I have no clue what his position is). Nor is my purpose to even say that we are convinced beyond all doubt about it’s placement in the order of end-times events (though we have a leaning based on what we believe He’s showed us in His Word, we are still humbly seeking truth about this). My desire is merely to say that I believe God is speaking to us all of the need to be prepared to ENDURE THROUGH WHATEVER MAY COME before that glorious time occurs and to be willing to pay WHATEVER COST may be required in order to remain faithful to Him until then.
March 2, as I was praying about these things, a notification popped up on my screen that said, “Sacrifice always has its reward!” It was a status update from Joyce Meyer, but I knew it was truly the Holy Spirit continuing to confirm with the same words ~
“No sacrifice; No Victory ~ Have the GUTS to get in the car.”
Praying that each of us is drawing as close to the Lord as possible, in a posture of complete surrender and total commitment to Him, willing to lay everything on the altar of sacrifice, ready and willing to make whatever “Hannah sacrifice” He is requesting, withholding nothing…; and once we get in that posture and His rhema word of direction and instruction comes, revealing exactly what He’s asking us to do (what the ‘car’ or vehicle to fulfill our destiny, call, assignment is), that we’ll yield to Him rather than resist, that we’ll say “YES,” trust and take the leap of faith that’s required, and have the GUTS to get in the ‘car’!
Since we discovered it was the 3rd Transformer movie James Goll was referring to, we skipped the 2nd (after reading some reviews to make sure we could still understand the 3rd without seeing it) and went straight to the 3rd. Since this note is already long enough, this will have to be continued in another note….
