Around the end of January as I was running one day, listening to Christian radio, I asked the Lord what song He was singing over me. I almost always ask the Lord to play songs while I run that will express my heart toward Him and His heart toward me, so I can spend that time in worship, but that day, I felt prompted to specifically make this request based on Zephaniah 3:17.
The very next song that came on the radio was one that I had never heard before, but as I listened intently, I quickly realized that the Lord had immediately answered my prayer. The song was written from His perspective. My awe and emotion intensified as I recognized the message of the song as being the same message that God had spoken to me through the dream He gave me several years ago (“Keys of the Kingdom,” which many of you have read) which describes His love for us and how He has given us EVERYTHING!
After my workout I began trying to find out what song it was, but my internet sleuthing turned out to be a fruitless search. So, I prayed that the Lord would let me hear it again and show me what song it was.
For months now, as I have listened to that Christian station during my workouts, I have waited expectantly, with no answer. I found this more than bizarre, since typically they play the same songs perpetually ad nauseam on the radio, but the very one I WANTED to hear again I couldn’t find anywhere. I was to the point of beginning to entertain the notion that the Lord had made up that song specially for me in answer to my prayer that day and had sung it Himself through the radio, and that it wasn’t really a song that existed in the natural realm. Yet I continued to pray to hear it again….with no answer….UNTIL THIS WEEK.
I was overwhelmed to learn the title and once again hear the message of the song, and now that I know what it is, I realize that it could not be more appropriate that the Lord answered my prayer to show it to me again THIS WEEK… as we celebrate Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
This first video is the song with the lyrics and pictures:

What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? HE WHO DID NOT SPARE HIS OWN SON, BUT GAVE HIM UP FOR US ALL – HOW WILL HE NOT ALSO, ALONG WITH HIM, GRACIOUSLY GIVE US ALL THINGS? Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
