Prophetic Message through “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” – part 1

Note 7 – Part 1 (Navigation forward and backward at bottom of screen; Links to previous notes in this series at end of part 4)

As mentioned in note 6 (No Sacrifice; No Victory… pts 1-3), several weekends ago (after hearing James Goll recommend the film for its prophetic message) we felt the Lord was leading us to see Transformers 3 (Dark of the Moon). Though there are a number of good reasons NOT to recommend this film, we can see why someone prophetically gifted could hear the Lord speaking/confirming things through it. Like the Hobbit, this film contained important messages and warnings for our nation. This movie has already been out several years (2011), so I’m assuming if you’re a fan of the series you’ve already seen it. But just to be safe I’ll issue a *spoiler alert* again for anyone who doesn’t want to know certain details. Again, I will list things by theme rather than in chronological order.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Watching for the True Enemy Who Desires to Bring Tyranny
The movie begins with a brief narrative about the war between the autobots, who fought for freedom, and the decepticons, who dreamt of tyranny. We learn that since the autobots arrival on earth, they have been assisting in solving human conflicts in order to prevent mankind from bringing harm to itself…. Yet all the while keeping watch for signs of their true enemy’s return.
There were themes in this film that paralleled the themes from the Hobbit, addressed under the section,“The World is in Grave Danger” ~ “War is Coming” (Destroy the Dragon and Take Back Your Homeland… pts 1-4). In the same way, it’s revealed in this film that the enemy has indeed returned and is preparing for war, and that his work has only been able to advance because it was hidden in darkness. We later learn that these plans will put the whole world in great danger. Also, as in the Hobbit, we see the recurring theme of people who are not what they seem and the need for discernment to recognize the traps of the enemy and those who are actually working for him (discussed more later).
We found it very interesting that both RUSSIA and THE UKRAINE were specifically highlighted in this film. In fact, the first undeniable evidence that the decepticons had returned was an attack that occurred in THE UKRAINE by a decepticon named SHOCK WAVE (“A large-amplitude compression wave, as that produced by an explosion or supersonic motion….;  A violent disruption, disturbance, or reaction: Shock waves of revolution shattered the government.” Freedictionary.com). This took place in Chernobyl, which has been translated “mugroot” or “wormwood,” bringing Revelation 8 to mind. Though this attack was the original location which revealed the presence of decepticons, the whole world was soon in danger.
The Dark of the MoonTransformers-Dark-Of-The-Moon-Review-Free-Pictures-Wallpaper-1
We thought the title of this film (Dark of the Moon) was quite interesting, in light of things the Lord’s been speaking since last year about the coming 4 blood moons (Signs of the End pts 1 and 2).
In the beginning of the film, an autobot spaceship crashes on the moon. Many years later, the autobots go on a mission to search this crash site on the dark side of the moon for their former commander (Sentinel Prime) and a vital technology/weapon he had developed. After bringing Sentinel and part of his weapon to earth and reviving him, it’s revealed that the majority of his work was stolen by the decepticons who found the ship years earlier. The decepticons left Sentinel and the remainder of his work behind as a trap to lure the autobots to bring them to earth (knowing only the current leader, Optimus, could revive Sentinel ~ the key to activating the weapon).
There are powerful personal applications that can be drawn from the concept of the activity of “decepticons” secretly at work on the “dark side of the moon” (which tie in with themes from past notes). Prophetically, Christians are represented by the “moon” ~ intended to be “faithful witnesses” (Psalm 89:37) to the Son by reflecting His light. Therefore, the dark side of the moon can refer to the places where the light of the Son has not reached in our lives.
A wrecked ship, pillaged and used by the decepticons to bring about their strategies of destruction against us, can represent wreckage (wounds) in our lives that become strongholds where the enemy then operates against us to steal, kill, and destroy. This occurring on the “dark side of the moon” demonstrates that his work can be hidden in darkness, undetected even by us (in our “blind spots”), enabling him to covertly work his plans of destruction against us. This message goes along with previous messages emphasizing how God is calling each of us to “clean out the temple/house,” to allow His Light of truth to expose and uncover every idol and anything hidden in darkness within us, so that we can repent and remove those things from our lives. He wants His light to reach even the hidden and hard to reach places so that no “decepticon”s can remain hidden in “the dark of the moon,” secretly operating to destroy us.
But, in addition to the personal applications that can be taken from this, the primary message we felt the Lord was emphasizing was one of national/international end-times implications.
The message of “the dark of the moon” becomes even more profound when connected with the message of the coming 4 blood moons (lunar eclipses). The cause, and spiritual message, of a BLOOD MOON (as seen in the photo above) is that THE ATMOSPHERE of eclipse-diagramthe WORLD, and THE WORLD ITSELF, HAS COME IN BETWEEN THE MOON (Christians) AND THE SUN (SON). As the atmosphere of the world, and the world itself, comes in between us and the Lord, it casts its dark shadow over our lives, blocking our ability to be faithful witnesses of the Son by thwarting our capacity to reflect His light. A “blood” moon, a stage of a total lunar eclipse, can prophetically warn of/announce the consequence (judgment) for allowing the world to come in between us and God (when there is no repentance at God’s persistent wooing and warnings). Onward Christian Soldiers ~ Don’t Give Up!‏ – part 2 – HFJ31
(Part 2 – continued from same day)
Here are a couple of the confessions from our list we “just happened” to read Sunday night (3/9). I later realized they went along perfectly with the PATIENCE but NOT PASSIVITY word Rick gave Monday night (3/10) (and also go along with the verses the Lord’s been giving). I forgot to mention these confirmations in the last message!
“God is not unjust; He will not forget our work and the love we have shown Him as we have helped His people and continue to help them.  We will not act as one who has lost their enthusiasm, excitement, zeal, and passion, and has sunk into a watered down state of sluggishness with lack of motivation and focus, insensitive to the things of the Spirit, and losing the edge we once possessed. We shift back into HIGH GEAR and go after God’s best with all our might. We view the loss of passion, momentum and desire as totally unacceptable. We eradicate every hint of spiritual neutrality and slothfulness. We RECLAIM RED HOT PASSION, LASER BEAM FOCUS, INTENSITY, ZEAL, DETERMINATION, TENACITY. WE SHOW THIS DILIGENCE TO THE VERY END, in order to make our hope (confident expectation of good) sure. WE WILL NOT BECOME LAZY, but we will imitate those who through FAITH AND PATIENCE INHERIT WHAT HAS BEEN PROMISED. (inspired from Hebrews 6:10-12 and Sparkling Gems on that passage)”
“We hold fast, unswervingly to our profession of faith, for He who promised is FAITHFUL.  We stay in agreement with God, speaking what He says, tightly wrapping our arms around the promises we confess, embracing them with all our might – fixed, unbending, relentless, unmoving, stable, enduring. We dig in our heels, we drive down our stakes. We refuse to give up or back down. We’ve invested too much. We’ve come too far. We aggressively choose to believe that what God has promised, He will do. (inspired from Hebrews 10:23 and Sparkling Gems from May 16)”
THIS WAS PRECISELY WHAT RICK TALKED ABOUT IN MONDAY NIGHT’S HOME GROUP. They also went along with both of the Rick devos the Lord led me to read Tuesday!!! The one He gave us Monday, Mar 10th – Hang in There and Don’t Give Up (below) AND another He’d given us on the 8th (Gem from June 22) – Don’t Throw Away Your Confidence! Both of these go along perfectly and precisely with this theme and focus on some of the recurring verses He’s been giving. This Greek word hupomeno that’s discussed below has been a relentless mantra from the Lord for 3 years!!!!!! Help us Jesus!
Here’s a part of “Hang in There and Don’t Give Up” by Rick Renner (As always, though I don’t believe it needs to be stated for true Christians, the clarification must be made for those who do not understand Christianity or who are looking for reasons to falsely accuse –  “fighting”, “warfare”, “battle,” and “soldier” terminology does not refer to fighting people, but to our battle against the spiritual forces of evil in the unseen realm spoken of in Ephesians 6 and elsewhere in Scripture.) :
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Hang In There And Don’t Give Up

My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. — James 1:2-4

… no matter where you live or what you’re facing, remember that it’s essential to have the right attitude toward high-pressure situations! The Early Church called “patience” the “queen of all virtues.” They believed that if they possessed this one virtue, they could survive anything that ever came against them. It is this same virtue that is sustaining believers today who live in godless regions of the world — and this virtue is exactly what you need to victoriously outlast the pressures and ordeals you may be dealing with today.

James was writing to believers who were undergoing the kind of hardships described above (persecution, trials, etc.). He told them, “But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.” The word “patience” is the Greek word hupomeno — a compound of the words hupo and meno. The word hupo means under, as to be underneath something. The word meno means to stay or to abide. You could say that the word meno means to remain in one’s spot; to keep a position; to resolve to maintain some territory that has been gained. It is the state of mind that says, “This is my spot, and I’m not moving!”

The determination inherent within the word hupomeno is clearly seen when it was used in a military Us army wallpaper2sense to picture soldiers who were ordered to maintain their positions even in the face of fierce combat. Their order was to stand their ground and defend what had been gained. To keep that ground, they had to be courageous to do whatever was required — no matter how hard or difficult the assignment. Their goal was to see that they survived every attack and held their position until they had outlived and outlasted the resistance. These soldiers had to indefinitely and defiantly stick it out until the enemy realized they couldn’t be beaten and decided to retreat and go elsewhere. Thus, the word hupomeno conveys the idea of being steadfast, consistent, unwavering, and unflinching. It is the attitude that declares, “I don’t care how heavy the load gets or how much pressure I’m under, I am not budging one inch! This is my spot, and I’m telling you right now that there isn’t enough pressure in the whole world to make me move and give it up!”

Although the King James Version translates this word “patience,” a more accurate rendering would be endurance. One scholar calls it staying power, whereas another contemporary translator calls it hang-in-there power. … This is an attitude that never gives up! It holds out, holds on, outlasts, and perseveres. This word illustrates the patient endurance Jesus demonstrated during His trial, scourging, and crucifixion. Even though the assignment was the most difficult task ever given to anyone, Jesus stayed with it all the way to the end.

Keeping all this in mind, James 1:4 could be interpreted:

“But let patience have her perfect work — I’m talking about the kind of attitude that hangs in there, never giving up, refusing to surrender to obstacles and turning down every opportunity to quit….”

The Early Church called patience the “queen of all virtues” for good reason. They knew that as long as they had this character quality working in their lives, it wasn’t a question of if they would win their battles — it was only a question of when they would win their battles. Hupomeno — that is, endurance, staying power, hang-in-there power — is one of the major weapons you need to outlast any difficulty or time of stress and pressure that comes your way. So if you’re going through some rough circumstances at the moment, be encouraged! It’s a fleeting and temporary condition that will soon change! It’s time for you to get your eyes off your challenges and to stop fixating on your problems. Make up your mind that you’re going to stand your ground and hang in there. It won’t be long until the problems flee — and when they do, you’ll be so glad you didn’t give up! (Copyright © Rick Renner, Sparkling Gems from the Greek)

Onward Christian

Onward Christian Soldiers ~ Don’t Give Up!‏ – part 1 – HFJ30

I had a powerful experience of our last confession (I do not LIVE by bread alone, but by every WORD that comes from the mouth of God) on Tuesday after sending out the last message! I will share it since it goes along with the PATIENCE/ENDURANCE theme of our last message and hope it encourages anyone else who needs to hear these words in your journey!

I received some news Tuesday afternoon that left me battling feelings of complete overwhelm, hopelessness, and defeat. I put my head in my hands and cried out to the Holy Spirit to help me. When I looked up my eyes landed on a Scripture card that is taped to the bottom of my computer screen. My eyes landed on ONE WORD on that card which seemed to be highlighted/illuminated to me by the Spirit. As I sat there staring at that one word, the Lord began to bring to my remembrance the words/promises He had already given me about this situation months earlier which contained that EXACT SAME key word. (This card had been on my computer long before He gave the recent promises and I had never even noticed that the same key word was on it.) As the Lord used that Scripture card to remind me of His words/promises about the situation at hand and I began to declare those instead of the report I had just received, those words breathed His LIFE into me again. Overwhelm, hopelessness, and defeat disappeared and I felt hope and faith arise to keep moving forward. Frustrated by my near instant recovery from his hit, the devil tried again with another blow from a different source. As I was trying to keep my head above the waves of discouragement by holding to the promises the Lord had just reminded me of, He immediately sent me another lifeline – another precise word that imparted His breath of life:

Endure Hardness
Gloria Copeland

Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.– 2 Timothy 2:3

There are no “ifs” about it. Hard times are going to come in the life of every believer. There will be times when circumstances will seem dark, times when you face seemingly impossible obstacles, soldiertimes when defeat seems inevitable.

In 2 Timothy 2:3, the Apostle Paul didn’t tell Timothy, “If hard times come, ENDURE them.” He simply said, “ENDURE hardness.” Some Christians become confused when those times come. “What’s happening here?” they cry. “I thought Jesus redeemed me from the curse!” He did, but you can rest assured, Satan will challenge that redemption. He will try his best to steal it from you by pulling you off your walk of faith. Jesus warned us about that in the parable of the sower in Mark 4:14-17. He said, “Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts….”

Satan will not sit idly by while you sail through life, effortlessly believing the Word of God. He’ll pressure you with hard times. He’ll attack you with sickness or lack, then he’ll lie to you and tell you that God doesn’t care. He’ll try to convince you that God is not going to answer your prayer this time. He’ll attempt to talk you into believing there’s no way out and that you will end up a miserable failure.

When those hard times come, don’t cave in to pressure. DON’T GIVE UP! STAND ON THE WORD and ENDURE hardness like a good soldier UNTIL VICTORY COMES!

Scripture Reading: 2 Timothy 2:1-7 (© 1999 Kenneth Copeland Ministries)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When I finished reading this, I looked to my right and saw a card on my desk that I’d just written with the title of a Rick Renner devo the Lord had given me earlier the same day: “HANG IN THERE AND DON’T GIVE UP!” This reminded me of the deluge of recent words He has given us about PERSEVERANCE (ENDURANCE) and PATIENgood_soldierCE (as mentioned in the last note). When I reread that Rick devo, I realized how PERFECTLY it paralleled this KCM devo! Both focus on ENDURANCE, not giving up until the victory is won, and both even speak of these things using the analogy of SOLDIERS!! (Part of that devo is included at the end of this message – in part 2.)
As I saw how God was rushing in, when the enemy came in like a flood, to raise up the standard of His WORD against Him (and that He actually began rushing in even in advance), I was anchored by faith instead of tossed about in the storm. I was able to be supernaturally SHIELDED from those fiery darts the enemy had intended to run me through. I was able to LIVE by His WORD and FAITH instead of crumbling in defeat and despair due to natural appearances, circumstances, and the report of man.
When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him. Isaiah 59:19
When Jesse got home I told him about the situation, about seeing the key word jumping off the Scripture card on the computer, and how the Lord used that to bring back to mind His words/promises for this situation. I reminded him of why that specific key word was significant and also reminded him of a couple of other key words the Lord had given us about the situation months before. That night when we went to bed, the Lord gave us a word from Ivan Tait’s book that contained ALL of those EXACT SAME KEY WORDS!!! He also gave us several additional passages, through the confessions we read from our regular Scripture confession list, about perseverance!
Wrapping Up Confession #6 – HFJ29
We got two more confirmations of confession #6 last Friday!
“I do not live by bread alone. I literally LIVE by every Word that comes from the mouth of God.” (Matthew 4:4)
A few times, God was also linking our confession in my mind with these other confessions/passages:
~ “I confess God’s Word, knowing that faith comes from hearing the Word of God. As I meditate on and speak God’s Word, faith increases in my heart.” (Romans 10:17)
~ “We LIVE by FAITH…” (For we live by faith, not by sight. II Corinthians 5:7)
Emphasizing to me the connection that
Emojiwe LIVE by EVERY WORD that comes from His mouth because
Emojiwe LIVE by FAITH and
EmojiFAITH comes from hearing those WORDS
Others may hear the same words we hear, but they may not have any effect if they do not receive those words (combining, mixing, or uniting them) with faith (Hebrews 4:2b – …the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it). But as we continue to hear the Word (eat the Word), meditate on the Word (chew on it), swallow it, digest it, and absorb it, then faith comes, uniting with those words so that they become heart revelation that produce life transformation and covenant manifestation. We live by the words that come from God’s mouth because we live by faith – and hearing the Word is what produces the faith that we must have to live – spirit, soul, and body. Again, it’s our Faith Food or Faith Fuel.
~The theme of MEDITATING ON and CONFESSING/DECLARING the Word as a vital part of this process has also continued, with ongoing major emphasis on the need to bring our tongue under God’s divine authority and in alignment with His Word and will.
~The RUDDER theme also continued last night when Rick Renner talked about getting in “ALIGNMENT” with God’s plan/will (as in our first note on confession #6). He read from his study guide on Dream Thieves (ch 4):
“Just as a RUDDER steers the course of a ship, your divine purpose provides a sense of direction to steer the course of your life.”
!!! This complements our previous rudder theme of bringing the rudder of God’s promises for our lives and the rudder of our tongues into agreement in order to get into alignment with His will/plan and make sure our lives are headed the right direction. Knowing His vision, call, will for our lives is an important part of keeping that rudder on course. In order to make sure we’re doing what’s necessary to make this happen Rick asked:
  • “Are your habits and immediate goals consistent with your (God-given) life’s purpose? If not, those habits and goals, although well-meaning, can pull you off course. Are you investing the necessary time and cultivating the kind of good habits that will draw you closer to your dream (or God’s promises) —or are you allowing bad habits to remain that will pull you further away from your dream’s (or God’s promises) fulfillment?”
  • “The busyness of daily life can sometimes serve as a distraction that hinders us from becoming the kind of people we ultimately want to be. It is possible to “multitask” ourselves into a state of unproductiveness as a result of nearly nonstop activity. What activities in your life are colliding to prevent you from following God’s plan for your life to the fullest?”
I thought this was appropriate since we may often hear and know that we need to be carving out the time to meditate on God’s Word and declare it (and pruning things that prevent us from doing so), but we still may fail to do so as we should. (It’s the age old deception of thinking we “know” something because we’ve heard it and mentally agree, but as Joyce Meyer says – “we don’t really ‘know‘ anything until we’re doing it.” James talks about us becoming self deceived when we continually hear God’s Word, but fail to put it into practice – James 1).
One of Rick’s questions from last week (chapter 3) ties these themes together:
  • “You need to draw from Heaven’s supply of grace in order to remain focused and tenacious. This is done by spending time with God, listening to His thoughts, and soaking up the atmosphere of His presence. Most people wouldn’t even consider not eating daily—and certainly they wouldn’t tackle a physical task without eating physical food. Yet how often do people (try to live and fulfill their assignments) without communing with Jesus and consuming His Word daily —the Bread of Life. What adjustments can you make in order to wait upon the Lord so that you’re exchanging your strength for His MIGHTY, INDOMITABLE STRENGTH and POWER (see Isaiah 40:31) (There are our words again!)?
Rick also talked about the difference between PATIENCE and PASSIVITY last night, which was a profound revelation the Lord had given us through a dream he gave Jesse a number of years ago ~ showing Jesse how often Passivity was trying to masquerade as Patience in his life. We truly need PATIENCE in order to obtain what God has promised (which has continued to be a theme this week), but we do NOT want to be fooled into allowing PASSIVITY, COMPLACENCY, and LUKEWARMNESS to try to masquerade under the appearance of Patience.
Consider it wholly joyful, my brethren, whenever you are enveloped in or encounter trials of any sort or fall into various temptations. Be assured and understand that the trial and proving of your faith bring out endurance and steadfastness and patience. But let endurance and steadfastness and patience have full play and do a thorough work, so that you may be [people] perfectly and fully developed [with no defects], lacking in nothing. James 1:2-4
But we do [strongly and earnestly] desire for each of you to show the same diligence and sincerity [all the way through] in realizing and enjoying the full assurance and development of [your] hope until the end, In order that you may not grow disinterested and become [spiritual] sluggards, but imitators, behaving as do those who through faith (by their leaning of the entire personality on God in Christ in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness) and by practice of patient endurance and waiting are [now] inheriting the promises. Hebrews 6:11-12
Do not, therefore, fling away your fearless confidence, for it carries a great and glorious compensation of reward. For you have need of steadfast patience and endurance, so that you may perform and fully accomplish the will of God, and thus receive and carry away [and enjoy to the full] what is promised. Hebrews 10:35-36
But as for that [seed] in the good soil, these are [the people] who, hearing the Word, hold it fast in a just (noble, virtuous) and worthy heart, and steadily bring forth fruit with patience. Luke 8:15
(see also I Peter 4:12-14 and 5:6-11)
We also got more powerful confirmation of the “Taking Back Lost Territory ~ Become More Determined than Hell Itself” note this weekend which I may share more about later.
And lastly, here’s a link to the word I briefly mentioned in the last message about the other ship analogy the Lord gave right after giving us the first ship-rudder words a few weeks ago:
Even if the Earth is in Chaos …
Hope to send confession #7 tomorrow!
Even if the Earth is in Chaos ~ God, Our Impenetrable Fortress, Will Be Exalted Among the Nations
(posted on FB March 6)
In light of some specific questions/prayers last week, here is the line up of words the Lord gave us last Wednesday night (2/26/14) when we went to bed:
From our main Scripture confession list ~
“God is our REFUGE and STRENGTH, An EVER-PRESENT HELP in trouble. Therefore we WILL NOT FEAR, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. There is a river (the Holy Spirit) whose streams make glad the city of God (us), the Holy Place where the Most High dwells. GOD IS WITHIN US, WE WILL NOT FALL; God will help us at break of day. Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall; he lifts his voice, the earth melts. The LORD Almighty is with us; THE GOD OF JACOB IS OUR FORTRESS. Come and see what the LORD has done, the desolations he has brought on the earth. He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth. He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; he burns the shields with fire. He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our Refuge (our Fortress and High Tower).” (from Psalm 46)
Next, a word from Ivan Tait’s book:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This was so that, by two unchangeable things [His promise and His oath] in which it is impossible for God ever to prove false or deceive us, we who have fled [to Him] for REFUGE might have mighty indwelling STRENGTH and strong encouragement to grasp and hold fast the hope appointed for us and set before [us]. Hebrews 6:18 AMP

“…I am the Anchor Smith. I make UNMOVABLE, UNSHAKEABLE anchors. My anchors hold any ship, any size, anywhere. Let the winds blow, and let the rains come. Let the floods raise their ugly heads, and your anchor will hold. Let the sand lift and move. Let the world cry out in instability. It doesn’t matter; your anchor is divine. Your stability is eternal. Nothing can move you from My place of security and STRENGTH. … I have preprogrammed your anchor to hold you safe though it all. Stand still, stand CONFIDENT, and rescue everyone who is not on your boat, perishing all around you. Do this, and I will be very pleased with you. Love them as much as I have loved you.” (Copyright © Ivan Tait, Letters from God)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Finally, from our Healing confessions book, the page that includes this confession:
“Even if the mountains are shaken and the hills removed, the Lord’s Unfailing Love for me will not be shaken, His Covenant of Shalom Peace will Never be removed! He fashions and adorns me as an IMPENETRABLE FORTRESS of sparkling jewels. My children are His disciples, taught by Him, and they also enjoy His great Shalom Peace. Because I am established in Righteousness through Faith in Jesus, I am completely delivered from all oppression and harm. I WILL NOT FEAR! Any attacks that come against me …WILL NOT SUCCEED. NOTHING CAN OVERCOME ME. I WILL BE VICTORIOUS OVER EVERY ATTACK BECAUSE I KNOW MY COVENANT WITH GOD THROUGH CHRIST!” (Isaiah 54:9-17)
We were in awe of the consistent theme throughout each of these words, with additional confirmations of things He’s been emphasizing lately. (The Anchor Smith word was additionally significant b/c He’d just given us another series of words before this, using an analogy from ships – not to mention the obvious continued immovable, unshakeable…theme, and the consistent message with the other words about our stability in the midst of the instability of the world around us). I also noticed that FORTRESS was a theme in what He was speaking! “FORTRESS” continued to come up several more times in the past week (as well as additional “SHIELD” words/confirmations from the previous notes – including Gen 15:1 and Psalm 18 again, and Psalm 33). So, I typed these original 3 words up a few days ago and we were asking the Lord if we were to share publicly.
THEN, last night before church, we finished a movie we’d started earlier in the week. It was one we had been drawn to at the library after asking the Lord to lead us to anything He wanted us to see. We knew nothing about it previously, but when we read the back cover we saw that it was a Christian film showing that science does not contradict the Bible, but is merely catching up to the truth of God’s Word. (Our pastor mentioned things last night – word for word – that we had JUST been talking about in light of that film – once again leaving us in jaw-dropping awe!!!)
Though we don’t know that we agreed with everything the film suggested (though we do agree science is just catching up to the Bible), it did contain some confirmations of some of the concerning things mentioned in the Hobbit note which caught our attention. And we were further amazed when it ended with this prayer ~
“Lord, the earth is Yours and everything in it. You made the heavens and all their starry host, the earth and everything in it. You are our REFUGE and our STRENGTH, our EVER-PRESENT HELP in TROUBLE. Therefore we WILL NOT BE AFRAID, because we are Yours, and You are our FORTRESS” !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As this prayer was being prayed, the camera panned away from the one praying to a wall hanging with this passage,
“Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. Psalm 46:10″
This brought us back full circle to the same passage from the first word in the series of 3 that God had given us exactly a week earlier (and seemed like the perfect way to confirm that He did want us to share this message).
Praying we are all becoming securely established in Him and His Word so that “though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging,” and though “nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall…(and) the earth melts,” that we will be within the IMPENETRABLE SHIELD and IMPENETRABLE FORTRESS of the Lord, confident and without fear, immovable, unshakeable, unbreakable, and unstoppable in our pursuit of His call, and willing to lay down our lives to rescue all around us who are perishing!
Blessings and Prayers!
“No Sacrifice; No Victory” ~ “Have the ‘GUTS’ to Get in the ‘CAR’!” – part 3
Note 6 – Part 3 (continued from same day) (Navigation forward and backward at bottom of screen)
As discussed in the prophetic word from 2012, I believe that many have placed most (or all) of the focus on the aspect of the “great exchange” (that happens when we come to Christ) that deals with God’s promises/blessings to us, and have placed little (or none) of the focus on the aspect of the exchange that deals with how our lives are to be totally surrendered to Him. I believe that, as a result of this imbalanced focus, many have fallen away due to these kinds of unexpected offenses with the Lord (like John was experiencing) that resulted when they didn’t see things turn out exactly as they were believing.
I felt these 3 precise confirmations of this passage/message were a very specific response to our prayers. I believe He was answering our questions about the full implications of the things He’s been saying and about whether He’s truly telling us we all need to be prepared to even be martyrs if it comes to that. In response to those questions, He responded and gave multiple confirmations of the message, Blessed is the one who is not offended because of Me.  In saying this, He is warning of the danger of becoming offended with Him in these last days if following Him indeed costs us all (as in the prophetic word from 2012 and the repetition of the word about Pilate).
We have heard reports of believers in other nations who were only ever prepared to be rescued OUT of all tribulation (through the rapture)…but were never prepared to endure THROUGH it. Therefore, when horrible persecution began in those nations (which is definitely a form of tribulation, even if not part of the actual “7-year Tribulation” of Revelation), many became disillusioned, believed the enemy’s lies that the Word was not true (since things weren’t happening as they’d been taught they would), and fell away as a result of this “offense” against their expectations. John also expected to be rescued OUT of his situation, and his disillusionment at having to endure THROUGH had caused even him to question his faith. Therefore, regardless of what any of us may believe about the timing of the rapture in the order of end-time events, I pray we will all not only be prepared to meet the Lord whenever He comes (watching and continually praying to be counted worthy to escape – Luke 21:36), but that we will also be prepared (have the “GUTS,” allow His iron to enter our souls and become spiritually “TOUGH” enough) to endure THROUGH anything that may come before He returns to gather us to Him. If things don’t go exactly as we’ve anticipated and expected, and we have not set our minds and prepared ourselves mentally, emotionally, and spiritually to be ready and willing to pay any price to remain faithful to Him, we would be at much greater risk of being among those who become disillusioned, offended, and fall away.
He also gave us this message 3 times that same week (once, a word about v. 29, and twice He gave us verses 28-29 in their entirety, along with other parts of that chapter):
“And do not [for a moment] be frightened or intimidated in anything by your opponents and adversaries, for such [constancy and FEARLESSness] will be a clear sign (proof and seal) to them of [their impending] destruction, but [a sure token and evidence] of your deliverance and salvation, and that from God. For you have been granted [the privilege] for Christ’s sake not only to believe in (adhere to, rely on, and trust in) Him, but also TO SUFFER IN HIS BEHALF.” Philippians 1:28-29
Through this, He again emphasized His call to become FEARLESS. He also reminded us that part of being His disciple (though a part we don’t hear too much about) is that we are granted the PRIVILEGE to SUFFER in His behalf. By the time He gave this to us twice that week we were amazed, but when it came up the 3rd time we were convinced beyond all doubt that He was truly giving us this word. He also continued the confirmations of Hebrews 11:1 mentioned in note 5 of this series (parts 1-4 of Taking Back Lost Territory…).
In addition, during this time, our worship pastor (who, as I’ve mentioned previously often introduces songs with the exact words/themes the Lord’s been speaking to us) began having us sing the “Withholding Nothing” Worship Medley, which has many confirmations of these precise words and themes in it:
As we continued to pray about these things, March 1, we felt the Lord brought additional confirmation through Ed Traut’s devo:
~~~~~~~~~~~~

“My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.” John 17:15 NIV

  • “It is not God’s will for us to become isolated from this natural world.
  • Jesus prayed that God the Father would protect us from the devil or any attacks we might encounter.
  • It was His heart that we endure and persevere THROUGH situations in this world and be protected THROUGH it by the Lord.”

“Prayer: I thank you Lord that you are not removing me from my difficulties and challenges in this world but that you are protecting me from the enemy and helping me get THROUGH them with great success. I praise you that you are my Helper and I will see your glory today. Amen.” ~ Ed Traut (Copyright, Prophetic Life Ministries)
~~~~~~~~~~~~
My intention is not to assume or determine what Ed Traut believes about the rapture through this message (I have no clue what his position is). Nor is my purpose to even say that we are convinced beyond all doubt about it’s placement in the order of end-times events (though we have a leaning based on what we believe He’s showed us in His Word, we are still humbly seeking truth about this). My desire is merely to say that I believe God is speaking to us all of the need to be prepared to ENDURE THROUGH WHATEVER MAY COME before that glorious time occurs and to be willing to pay WHATEVER COST may be required in order to remain faithful to Him until then.
March 2, as I was praying about these things, a notification popped up on my screen that said, “Sacrifice always has its reward!” It was a status update from Joyce Meyer, but I knew it was truly the Holy Spirit continuing to confirm with the same words ~
“No sacrifice; No Victory ~ Have the GUTS to get in the car.”
Praying that each of us is drawing as close to the Lord as possible, in a posture of complete surrender and total commitment to Him, willing to lay everything on the altar of sacrifice, ready and willing to make whatever “Hannah sacrifice” He is requesting, withholding nothing…; and once we get in that posture and His rhema word of direction and instruction comes, revealing exactly what He’s asking us to do (what the ‘car’ or vehicle to fulfill our destiny, call, assignment is), that we’ll yield to Him rather than resist, that we’ll say “YES,” trust and take the leap of faith that’s required, and have the GUTS to get in the ‘car’!
Since we discovered it was the 3rd Transformer movie James Goll was referring to, we skipped the 2nd (after reading some reviews to make sure we could still understand the 3rd without seeing it) and went straight to the 3rd. Since this note is already long enough, this will have to be continued in another note….
Also in answer to this question/prayer (for CONVICTION to the point of being FULLY PERSUADED and for further revelation about what we need to do to “have the GUTS to get in the car”) ~
~ He gave us the passage where the disciples vowed that even if it meant making the ultimate sacrifice, they would die for Jesus rather than deny or disown Him (which most of them eventually did).
~ He also showed us again all that Jesus was willing to endure, including laying down His life, to fulfill His call for our sakes. He emphasized that He is our example of laying down our lives to fulfill God’s call, reminding us through Philippians 2 that we’re to have this same mind and attitude that was in Him, which led Him to actions of humility beyond what we can fully comprehend. He purposefully set aside all the glory of Heaven in order to come into our fallen, broken world and give His life in a horrific way so we could be saved. Through this word which emphasized Philippians 2, He also gave us precise and profound confirmation of what He spoke through note 5 of this series, stating that Jesus had to divest Himself of “COMFORT” and “CONVENIENCE” in order to do God’s will! He calls us to do the same ~ to humble ourselves, rid ourselves of anything that would stand in the way of us fully doing His will (including COMFORT and CONVENIENCE), take on the nature of a servant, make ourselves of no reputation, and lay down our lives so others can come to know Him and be saved.
Realizing that once again, it sounded as though He was calling us all to be ready to pay the ultimate price to follow Him, we continued to pray for clarity about the full implications of what He was saying ~ “are you preparing us to be ready and willing to even be martyred for Your Name?” After asking Him this, He brought up the account of John the Baptist multiple times in the same week from different sources. The first time was when I reread the prophetic word from 2012 (parts 1-8) which concludes with this paragraph:
At certain times the Lord speaks a difficult message that causes many to depart. With winnowing fork, He sifts the wheat from the tares ~ His true bride from those who desire only the benefits of relationship without the exclusive, enduring commitment of marriage. In those moments, when He looks at each of us with eyes full of love and sorrow and asks, “What about you? Do you want to leave too?” what will our answer be? When we realize that following the Lord can cost us all, He says, “…blessed is he who is not offended because of Me” (Mt 11:6). Will we be offended? Do we “love” Him only for His blessings and promises, or will we truly love and follow Him no matter the cost because He is Lord? We are in such a season. The sifting and separating is now. The lines are drawn in the sands of time; we must choose whom we serve.
The 2nd time occurred that Wednesday night, when our pastor talked about this same account of Jesus telling John the Baptist, “blessed is he who is not offended because of Me.” Though our pastor spoke about this account from the angle of not allowing ANY offense (with anyone) to derail us and cause us not to be able to fulfill our calling, we still believed it was significant that the Lord was bringing this passage up again in light of our prayers. The very next night, we felt led to put on a Joyce Meyer DVD teaching that we’d had for a while but had never taken the time to watch. We were IN ABSOLUTE AWE when she began to talk about the exact same account AGAIN, and she was speaking about it from the same angle I felt the Lord had always emphasized it to me ~ of not becoming offended with the Lord for the cost of following Him (even if it costs all).
I knew the piercing of this message from the story of John the Baptist well. It’s the heart rending message of one who dedicated his whole life to fulfilling the call of God, yet his seeming reward for fulfilling that call was imprisonment and impending death (for offending one in authority who didn’t appreciate hearing the truth that he must repent of his life of sin). Though maybe none of us have been in that precise scenario, perhaps we’ve been in a situation that has caused us to have a taste of his pain and confusion. Most of us can probably empathize with what was the likely wrestling match occurring in his heart at that time ~ “Surely this can’t be the way it’s supposed to be! This can’t be right. This isn’t the result I expected from doing God’s will.” After all, the Lord not only promised to bring sight to the blind, and make the lame walk; He also promised to set prisoners free (Isaiah 61)! But now that John desperately needed to see this promise manifested and receive some divine intervention and deliverance, where was Jesus? Instead, John’s experience was so counter to his expectations that it caused offense with God for how things were working out (or rather NOT working out as he thought they should). This offense became so serious that it began to cause him to question his faith and the identity of Jesus.
Cutting straight through to the heart/root of his doubts, Jesus sent word to him assuring him of the miracles, signs, and wonders that were indeed happening…for others…adding, blessed is he who is not offended because of Me. In other words, “Yes, I am still God, even when you don’t understand what’s happening and why things aren’t working out like you thought they would or should. You are blessed if you are not offended with Me when your faithfulness to My Word and obedience to My will carries a higher price than you realized it would.”
“No Sacrifice; No Victory” ~ “Have the ‘GUTS’ to Get in the ‘CAR’!” – part 1
Note 6 – Part 1 (Navigation forward and backward at bottom of screen; Links for previous notes in series also at end of part 3)
The Lord has brought so many confirmations of notes 4 & 5 since they were posted. Backing up several weeks to share a few…
Friday 2-21, though we were in another time of more intense seeking, I prayed that the Lord would lead us to anything He wanted/needed us to see. We wanted to set aside entertainment again, but I still prayed that if He needed to show us anything – even if it was through a movie – if we truly believed HE was leading us to it, we’d watch. As I was cleaning later that day, I found a movie on the floor in front of the TV that we had never seen. Someone had given it to us years ago and we’d started it once, but didn’t watch much and had never finished it. I didn’t even remember we had it and had no idea why it was on the floor since we hadn’t laid eyes on it in years. When I saw it, I remembered that very recently I’d heard James Goll say that this movie was prophetic and I’d made the mental note that we should probably bite the bullet and see it. Believing this could be the Lord’s response to what I felt led to pray earlier that day, we started watching it that night. Part way in, I was thinking – surely this CAN’T BE what James was saying is SO prophetic. I was certainly not being blown away with symbolism like in other movies the Lord’s led us to see. At that point, we researched online and discovered there were 3 movies in the series! (Clearly, we’re way out of the loop on these things). We realized James must have been referring to the most recent one. I prayed that even if God just led us to this first one with the ultimate goal of getting us to realize we needed to watch the third, that He’d still speak something to us through this first one so that finishing it was not a total waste. Sure enough, He did!
The movie was Transformers. He only spoke a couple of things to us through the first one, but they were powerful. In prophetic imagery a car (or any vehicle) can represent your destiny ~ a “vehicle” to your destiny. There’s a scene where Sam and Mikayla realize what his “CAR” (destiny) REALLY is. When Sam still tells her to get in, she hesitates, so Sam says –
“…when you’re looking back on your life, don’t you want to know YOU HAD THE ‘GUTS’ TO GET IN THE CAR!?”
Knowing that cars can represent the vehicle to your destiny and that the Lord has been speaking to us repeatedly about having the “GUTS” to fulfill our destiny (as mentioned in previous notes), I felt that word shoot straight through me to “the city of my soul”! He had also been speaking about the need to trust and take the leap of faith, and repeatedly of the need to say “YES” to Him (accepting the assignment/call). So we’ve been praying along these lines. These themes have also been connected to things mentioned in note 5 (Taking Back Lost Territory parts 1-4), about needing to draw as close as possible in a posture of complete surrender and total commitment, willing to lay all on the altar of sacrifice in order to yield to His plan. For many months this message has repeatedly been connected with the story of Hannah (so we’ve been calling it the “Hannah sacrifice”), whose vow to dedicate what God birthed through her brought forth the answered prayer of giving birth to Samuel. As it turns out, Sam is the main character’s name in these films. Sam (a diminutive of Samuel) means Name of God (understanding that a “name” in the Bible denotes a person’s character ~ therefore we could also imply, the Character of God). It also means to hear, to listen, to obey. This name therefore represents one who hears the Lord, understands what He’s saying, and obeys ~ in doing so manifesting/displaying the character of God in their life. Mikayla means “who is like God?” ~ representing one who has confidence from knowing that He alone is God and there is no other, none can compare to Him (Exodus 15:1-19 [v.11], II Chronicles 6:14, Psalm 89:5-18 [v.6-8]; 113).
Another line the Lord quickened was the “family motto” from the film. It was mentioned 3 times, but I didn’t really hear it until the 3rd time, after Sam risked his life to save the nation and then said ~ “No sacrifice; no victory.” Both of these phrases go along with the theme of notes 4 & 5 (and previous messages in the past 3 years) about having to pay the price, fully surrender, be ready and willing to sacrifice all in order to fulfill our assignments. God has continued to confirm this theme in multiple other ways as well.
As we’ve asked Him for CONVICTION to the point of being FULLY PERSUADED and for further revelation about what we need to do to “have the GUTS to get in the car,” He led us back to the message about Pilate AGAIN ~  (included below)
“Wanting to satisfy the crowd, Pilate released Barabbas to them. He had Jesus flogged, and handed him over to be crucified.” Mark 15:15
We are living in a time when what many call spiritual enlightenment, God calls apostasy. He is watching to see what we will do with Jesus – with His Word – with The Truth. Pilate was willing to stand up for Jesus as long as it didn’t cost him anything. But what will we do when Jesus (His Word, The Truth) puts us in an unpopular position with many around us? What if standing by Him (His Word, The Truth) puts us in a dangerous position? Will we be like Pilate and hand Jesus (The Truth) over to be crucified by the crowds, desiring to satisfy them in order to save our reputation, our status, our popularity, our position, our ambition, our lives? Or will we stand up for Jesus and His Word even if it that unpopular or dangerous position jeopardizes and costs all?
It’s not about us; it’s about Him and advancing His Kingdom in this earth, and it’s about the others He sends us to reach. God does and will ask us to go through things that do not seem PLEASANT, COMFORTABLE, or advantageous to us, things that result in death to self, in order to fulfill His will and purpose to reach the lost and those who have turned away from truly following Him. We might be the only witness He has to reach people in certain situations. Are we willing to follow Him and do whatever He asks us even when it costs us everything? Or are we only interested in “what’s in it for me?” If it’s hard, UNCOMFORTABLE, or has too high a price will we convince ourselves God wouldn’t ask us to do it? If we don’t understand His reasons why will we talk ourselves out of difficult assignments He gives? Or are we living sacrifices who are COMMITTED to take up our cross and follow Him wherever He leads? When we became Jesus’ disciples, He didn’t just give us His Spirit, power, covenant blessings and promises, He also gave us some nails and a cross. But the flesh will always try to convince us it’s OK to follow the path of COMFORT and self-preservation rather than the path of crucifixion. As the curtains draw to a close on this age, both light and darkness are reaching full maturity in mankind. I pray the church will not give the crowd the lawless “Barabbas” they are demanding and hand Jesus (The Truth) over to be crucified, but that we will stand by Jesus, His Word, the Truth and do all He asks regardless of the consequences.
“Then Jesus said to His disciples, If anyone desires to be My disciple, let him deny himself [disregard, lose sight of, and forget himself and his own interests] and take up his cross and follow Me [cleave steadfastly to Me, conform wholly to My example in living and, if need be, in dying, also]. For whoever is bent on saving his [temporal] life [his COMFORT and security here] shall lose it [eternal life]; and whoever loses his life [his COMFORT and security here] for My sake shall find it [life everlasting].” Matthew 16:24-25 AMP
Clearly, one way for Him to help us become fully persuaded is to speak/confirm the same messages to us as many times and in as many ways as necessary for it to become unmistakably and undeniably clear that HE is truly saying this ~ and that He’s not changing His mind. I couldn’t help but notice some of the key words of recent themes that were also in this message.
Confirmations of Confession #6 – HFJ28
Many confirmations this week from the last message!
He’s given several more confirmations this past week about both “manna” and “bread” – from which we’ve made the application to Him sustaining us with spiritual food, God’s WORD, and JESUS the Living Word, the Bread of Heaven, our Miraculous Manna, sent from the Father to give us Life and supply our every need. I’ll include a few of those:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

“You gave your good Spirit to instruct them. You did not withhold your MANNA from their mouths, and you gave them water for their thirst.” Nehemiah 9:20 NIV

  • The Holy Spirit leads us into all truth and instructs us; He is our helper and our teacher, if we will follow!
  • … God does not withhold our daily needs from us. We can depend upon Him and expect it regardless of how things look – even if we find ourselves in a desert.
  • There is nothing God will not do for us, those He loves. We can expect Him to always come through for us.

Prayer: Lord thank you that you withhold no good thing. In every desert situation we are in we know that you carry us through the worst of circumstances. We are completely safe in your arms and care. Amen. Ed Traut (Copyright © Prophetic Life Ministries)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Also this confession from Isaiah 51:7-16 came up this week in our normal confession list:
“We do not fear the reproach of men and are not terrified by their insults. We AWAKE and CLOTHE OURSELVES WITH STRENGTH. God Himself comforts us; we do not fear mortal men, who are but grass. We never forget our Maker who stretched out the heavens and laid the foundations of the earth.  We do not live in terror of the wrath of the oppressor, for the cowering prisoners will soon be set free – they will not die in their dungeons NOR WILL THEY LACK BREAD. God has put HIS WORDS in OUR MOUTHS and covered us with the shadow of His hand – we ARE HIS.”
Passages from John 6 (which will lead us into our next confession) and from the Lord’s prayer also came to mind this week:
“He who feeds on My flesh and drinks My blood dwells continually in Me, and I [in like manner dwell continually] in him. Just as the living Father sent Me and I live by (through, because of) the Father, even so whoever continues to feed on Me [whoever takes Me for his food and is nourished by Me] shall [in his turn] live through and because of Me. This is the Bread that came down from heaven. It is not like the manna which our forefathers ate, and yet died; he who (continually) takes this Bread for his food shall live forever.” (John 6:56-58, see verses 25-71)
“Give us this day our daily bread.” (Matthew 6:11)
In addition to promising to meet our physical need for food/nourishment, through this passage in the Lord’s prayer we can also make the application to Jesus as the children’s Bread of healing, broken for us so we can be made whole (Matthew 15:26, Mark 7:27, John 6, Isaiah 53). Just as we can ask the Father for our basic, daily provision of physical food, we can ask the Father for our basic, daily provision of healing which He supplies through Jesus. But we can also make the application to receiving the daily provision of His WORD that we need for every area of LIFE ~ His rhema Word of wisdom, knowledge, understanding, instruction, direction, counsel, insight, promise, comfort, correction, etc. that we desperately require from day to day in order to know how to do anything and everything according to His will and ways.
We also received this additional confirmation of DIGESTING the WORD :
“Paul said that if we want to be wise, if we want to correctly handle the Word of truth, we must be workmen. We must read the Bible. We must DIGEST IT, MEDITATE ON IT, MEMORIZE IT, UNDERSTAND IT.”  ~ Barbara Bush
AND the Lord gave Jesse Luke 4 (on Sat, Mar 1), which contains our passage:
And Jesus replied to him, It is written, Man shall not live and be sustained by (on) bread alone but by every word and expression of God. Luke 4:4 AMP
Our “ship” analogy from the last message also continued with a new twist, which I may send in a separate message. But He also reinforced the message from the original ship analogy He gave last week (about the need to bring the rudder of His promises and the rudder of our tongues/mouth into agreement and alignment) by giving us another word from James 2 which focused this time on the bit in the horses mouth – pointing to the need for our tongues/mouth to be “broken” like a horse must be, so that our tongue is completely under the control of the Lord and His Word.
He also gave us this word, which continues confirmations of the theme of the WORD being MEDICINE (which I mentioned the Lord was emphasizing in the last message)!! :
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Creating Armor”

“YOUR MOUTH IS FULL OF WAITING MIRACLES. SAY WHAT I SAY. LET YOUR WORDS HARMONIZE WITH MY WILL (in other words – bring the rudder of our tongues into ALIGNMENT/HARMONY with the rudder of His Word), AND MY WORDS WILL BE LIKE SPIRITUAL PENICILLIN, HEALING ALL GERMS, VIRUSES, AND BACTERIA OF THE SOUL (AND BODY). YOUR WORDS ARE YOUR WEAPONS. They create a throne for Me and wave My scepter of power over your life. … Allow your words to prepare your destiny. I have sacrificed everything to make sure you succeed in life. Embrace My instructions, for each lesson adds another piece of armor to you. … With these you’re guaranteed to reign in life. Who can stop your forward motion? No one. Not now. Not ever. WORDS ARE LIKE SWORDS OR MEDICINE…. Don’t ever let your words curse you or enslave you. Set the world on fire with faith-filled, love-ruled words.”   (Copyright © Ivan Tait, Letters from God)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
ALSO regarding the theme of the Word as medicine ~ last week, I spent more hours than normal cleaning the house. Since I was nearly a month behind on Joyce Meyer broadcasts, I tried to start getting caught up on those while I worked. As I listened, I was amazed at the PRECISE confirmations from our themes from many of our previous notes (such as “Get Your Super On” and “Are You Full of It” – which would have aired close to the time of those notes being posted)! On Friday, one of the many I listened to was entitled, “What is Your Mental Condition – part 1.” I was SO BLESSED to hear more confirmations in this message of God’s Word being our MEDICINE (including the verse from the last message, Proverbs 4:20-22)! I knew that the Lord was, without a doubt, continuing to SURROUND us with this theme. I’ve listened to Joyce for over a decade and had never heard her say these exact things in this way! Such POWERFUL confirmations of our themes! She also talked about the vital importance of meditating on the word and SWALLOWING IT until it becomes part of us! Here is the link to listen: What is Your Mental Condition? (Part 1)  [this used to be a link to Joyce’s website, but that teaching has now been removed. This link now goes to youtube.]
Just as His Word is food that sustains us, His Word is real LIFE-SUSTAINING, LIFE-GIVING Medicine that has the power to save our lives and heal us physically, emotionally, and spiritually, and make us whole.
I will leave you with this last confirmation (below) which I just received in my email this morning!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

“Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.” Matthew 4:4 NIV

•We are not depenwords_to_live_bydent on natural things or natural food for our future – we belong to the Lord.”

•The word that God speaks is life to us in every way, shape and form. We live on these words.

•We ought to … know what God is saying to us – as we live and depend on these words for the very breath that we breathe.

Prayer: Lord, just as Jesus said, I say today, that I do not live by natural things but by the words that come from your mouth. Continue to speak your word to me today Lord that I may grow and live in you. Amen. Ed Traut (Copyright © Prophetic Life Ministries)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We pray we’re not just hearing these words, but truly putting them into practice. May we continue to make EATING, MEDITATING ON (which is likened to CHEWING ON), SWALLOWING, DIGESTING, and ABSORBING the Word even more of a priority than getting physical food or medicine, so that it can become part of us and supply LIFE and HEALTH to our WHOLE BEING (spirit, soul, and body)!
Blessings and Prayers! Laura
Confession #6 & Powerful Confirmations ~ Get in ALIGNMENT‏ – HFJ27
OK!! I was so anxious to get people who just switched to the email group and those who remained on the FB group caught up on all the past messages so that we’d all be ready to move on to this next confession! God has already poured out such awesome confirmations for it this week!   Our next confession to focus on is:
“I do not live by bread alone. I literally LIVE by every Word that comes from the mouth of God!” (Matthew 4:4)
The Lord is so amazing!!! He started giving confirmations before we even began. Friday night, when Jesse and I were taking communion, I was praying over the bread (Jesus, the children’s Bread, broken for our healing) and was led to specifically pray that as we take this bread, EATING and DIGESTING it, that we’re PROCLAIMING that as we EAT and DIGEST Jesus and His Word that it/He is IN US and is Life to our WHOLE BODY and health to ALL OUR FLESH!
Right after that, when we went to bed, the Lord gave Jesse this word from Ivan Tait’s book Letters from God:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Promise Addicted

Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature. II Peter 1:4

 “Every promise received is a DOORWAY to a part of Me. Every promise DIGESTED is a light aglow within you. Every promise PROCLAIMED is an arrow released to its target. All of My promises are pieces of Me. EAT MY PROMISES, and you will add a new part of Me to your life. EAT ALL OF THEM, AND YOU WILL HAVE ALL OF ME. My promises are My bond. They reveal Me to you. They draw the lost out of their dungeons and caves. They bring hope to the lost and joy to the rejected. My promises answer all of the questions of the searching heart. MY PROMISES ARE MEDICINE TO THE SICK, resurrection to the dead, peace in the storms, AND A RUDDER FOR YOUR SHIP. Tie My promises to your soul, and you will escape every corrupting influence of this world. You will be PRESERVED from the Adamic nature and all of its evil impulses. become PROMISE-ADDICTED. I have already SENT you your next promise.” (Copyright © Ivan Tait, Letters from God)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Since I do not typically pray those specific words when we take communion, we were amazed that this word He gave right afterward also spoke of “EATING,” “DIGESTING,” and “PROCLAIMING” His Word/promises. We knew the Lord was speaking/confirming! This word was full of so many other confirmations for us. I’ll mention a few:
~ I emphasized “Doorway” due to the things He’s been speaking to us about receiving the “keys” to the “doors” that need to be opened (as mentioned in pt 3 of the Hobbit notes).
~ “Medicine to the sick…” is highlighted for obvious reasons (His word as “medicine” has also been a recurring theme recently).
~ “Preserved” has also been a theme the past year (Psalm 119:50 NIV & others).
~ And “I have already SENT you your next promise,” due to our last confession – that He sent His Word to heal us.
~ But I emphasized the part about “rudder for your ship” because right after reading this, Jesse then read from our Healing Confessions Book (which these confessions come from). He “randomly” opened to the page that talks about THE TONGUE and the importance of speaking in agreement with and declaring God’s promises ~
“… What I say has the power to affect my WHOLE BODY. My tongue has the ability to STEER THE WHOLE COURSE OF MY LIFE. So I guard my lips and therefore guard my life. …”  (this confession is based, in part, on James 3, below)
“And if anyone does not offend in speech [never says the wrong things], he is a fully developed character and a perfect man, able to control his WHOLE BODY and to curb his entire nature. If we set bits in the horses’ mouths to make them obey us, we can turn their WHOLE BODIES about. Likewise, look at the ships: though they are so great and are driven by rough winds, THEY ARE STEERED BY A VERY SMALL RUDDER wherever the impulse of the helmsman determines.” James 3:2-4 AMP
We couldn’t help but notice another word about the “WHOLE BODY” being emphasized again (as I’d prayed during communion ~ that He/His Word is Life to our WHOLE BODY and HEALTH TO ALL OUR FLESH, based on Prov. 4:20-22), but we were also amazed to receive two words in one night which spoke of our lives being steered like a ship. The word from Ivan’s book spoke of God’s promises being “a RUDDER” for our ship and now the Lord was connecting that same concept back to our tongues being likened to “a RUDDER” that has the ability to turn our WHOLE BODIES and steer the whole course of our lives, as a small rudder is able to steer a large ship, even in the face of EXTREME “WINDS” OF OPPOSING CIRCUMSTANCES.
“And a small rudder makes a huge ship turn wherever the pilot chooses to go, even though the winds are strong.” James 3:4 NLT
This is such a POWERFUL TRUTH, confirming things the Lord had been reminding us of again in the past weeks ~ of the POWER and NECESSITY of putting HIS WORD/PROMISES in our mouths ~ AND not just meditating on them (eating/digesting them), but declaring them, confessing them, proclaiming them, and warring with them. He’s telling us to put the two together ~ the RUDDER of His Word/promises and the RUDDER of our tongues. When we get the two in agreement we will be sure our ship is heading on the right course and that we will overcome the storms of life! This word was also awesome confirmation because we’ve been asking Him to show us every “course correction” we need to make in order to come into complete “DIVINE ALIGNMENT” with His assignments and destiny for our lives! Of course, we’re seeking Him to shine His light of truth IN US to reveal all that must go (as we all must do). But in addition to working with us on those things, He’s bringing us back to the importance of declaring HIS WORD, HIS PROMISES He’s given us, over our lives (surrounding us again with another series of admonishments to HOLD FAST OUR PROFESSION/CONFESSION OF FAITH, FOR HE WHO PROMISED IS FAITHFUL! Hebrews 10:23).
When I was typing all this up Saturday morning in my journal, the Lord reminded me what our next confession was and I was absolutely thrilled beyond measure to see that He had already started our confirmations in advance (through these words about eating and digesting Him/His Word)! In addition, He’s also already given us this passage TWICE this week:
“Be careful to follow every command I am giving you today, so that you may live and increase and may enter and possess the land the Lord promised on oath to your ancestors. Remember how the Lord your God led you all the way in the wilderness these forty years, to humble and test you in order to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep his commands. He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your ancestors had known, to teach you that MAN DOES NOT LIVE ON BREAD ALONE BUT ON EVERY WORD THAT COMES FROM THE MOUTH OF THE LORD!” Deuteronomy 8:1-3 (read whole chapter)
We have experienced the literal truth that we do not live by (eating & digesting) bread (physical food) alone, but by EVERY WORD that comes from His mouth. We have been through seasons where we felt we could not go on, take our next breath, or survive, except that He continually gave us the next Word we needed to make it. Through this process, we have truly experienced the power of His Word to sustain our lives from moment to moment, day to day ~ we call it “Holy Spirit mouth-to-mouth resuscitation” or “Holy Spirit life support.” He’s always faithful to breathe that next living, life-giving rhema word into us at just the right time to save and sustain us. Truly His Word/Promise preserves our lives! (Psalm 119:50 NIV)
I know this is LONG. Sorry. Time to wrap it up! I’m looking forward to seeing how God continues to manifest Himself in our lives this week as we meditate on and confess this promise that we live by EATING and DIGESTING Him and every Word from His mouth, and as we bring the RUDDER of our tongues into agreement and unity with the RUDDER of His Word/promises in order to bring our entire lives and WHOLE BODIES into ALIGNMENT and ON COURSE with HIS WILL!!!
Blessings and Prayers! Laura
