Becoming SALT and PILLARS – part 3

After hearing these precise confirmations about SALT peppered throughout that entire segment (sorry, I couldn’t resist), we were excited to know what else the Lord had in store, so Jesse put on the interview with the director, Philip Noyce (detailed, in part, in note 8).

The interviewer observed, “Your protagonists are always beaten down, BUT NOT GIVING UP (an allusion to II Corinthians 4:7-10 )

“But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that his life may also be revealed in our mortal body.”

(This was more confirmation of a myriad of words God’s given about NOT GIVING UP!)

The interviewer continued… “does that sense of ROMANCE (representing our Divine Romance with the Lord as His Beloved Bride) and RIGHTEOUSNESS (representing receiving God’s Righteousness through faith in Jesus, but also of having His Righteous cause for which we fight) lead to the fact that your HEROES are often INDOMITABLE ~ THEY CAN’T BE DEFEATED? (!!!!! We were now FLIPPING OUT at more confirmations of our key words “HEROES” – from the HEROES and CHAMPIONS theme – and “INDOMITABLE”!!! See Something’s Afoot, Taking Back Lost Territory pts 1 , 3, and 4, Dark of the Moon pt 4)

Later the interviewer also said: … “so often (in your films) ENDURANCE is part of the test (your protagonists face).” (ENDURANCE, PERSEVERANCE – and more specifically the Greek word hupomeno which encapsulates these ideas and more – have been continual themes. He’s been repeatedly saying we must ENDURE TO THE END ~ NO MATTER THE COST! See Onward Christian Soldiers pt 2)

We were blown away by all these confirmations of our previous themes!!! If you’ve watch the film, you know that SALT is violent and hardened toward the enemy. Again, this represents what our attitude is to be, not toward people, but toward our enemies in the spiritual realm. The Kingdom of God suffers violence and the VIOLENT take it by force (Matthew 11:12 – referring to our violence of faith in spiritual warfare). While God wants us to be as TOUGH as IRON, hardened to the enemy and his attacks, He wants us to be tender toward people – full of the fruit of His Spirit (Galatians 5). In addition to the Lord connecting these descriptions to the qualities of SALT that He’s calling us to possess, I also marveled that “Angelina” (who played the role of SALT) means “Messenger of God!” This represents that a “Messenger of God” is called to fulfill the role of SALT, AND confirms that these qualities of SALT should be identifying characteristics of the kind of Messengers He’s called us to be!!

The morning of 3/30 I was blessed by how God continued to tie the messages from the SALT notes together! That morning I felt led to go back and meditate on the past couple of pages of words from our confessions list that we’d just read over a period of several nights and saw:

(Based on words God gave us many years ago about being “Levites,” one confession said – )

“God’s covenant with Levi is a covenant of Life and Peace, and He gives them to us. We revere Him and stand in awe of His Name. True instruction (or the law of Truth) is in our mouths and nothing false is found on our lips. We walk in uprightness and turn many from sin, for the lips of a priest ought to PRESERVE knowledge (TRUTH), and from our mouths men should seek instruction – because WE ARE MESSENGERS OF THE LORD ALMIGHTY (Malachi 2:4-7).

I knew He was giving this powerful confirmation that He has called us to “PRESERVE” knowledge of His TRUTH (fulfilling SALT’s purpose to PRESERVE as discussed in note 8) as part of our role as “MESSENGERS of the LORD Almighty!”!!! (this scripture/confession is connected to the John the Baptist call as well!)

After we watched “A Game of Shadows” (discussed in note 8), I thought I remembered quoting that film in the Elastigirl notes, so I skimmed back through those while working on note 8. When I did, I was delighted to see that God was already emphasizing at the time of that note that His Word (Truth/Salt) will PRESERVE us: “…He was giving us Scriptures emphasizing and assuring us that HIS WORD and PROMISES LITERALLY PRESERVE OUR LIVES.” (Psalm 119:50)!!! Then, when I found the Sherlock quote I was looking for, what particularly stood out to me was the name of the heading it was under ~ “I’M COUNTING ON YOU. BE STRONG.” I knew God was showing me that He’d also already been speaking/confirming the message that HE NEEDS US too. This is His message to His people in this hour ~ He NEEDS US; He’s COUNTING ON US; and He’s continued telling us repeatedly through many different passages He’s given that we must be STRONG and COURAGEOUS in order to carry out His will!

“Be STRONG and COURAGEOUS. DO NOT BE AFRAID OR DISCOURAGED because of the king of Assyria and the vast army with him, for THERE IS A GREATER POWER WITH US than with him. With him is only the arm of flesh, but WITH US IS THE LORD OUR GOD TO HELP US AND TO FIGHT OUR BATTLES.”And the people gained confidence from what Hezekiah the king of Judah said. II Chronicles 32:7-8

Becoming Pillars

Though the devo in part 1 talked about becoming Pillars, God still wasn’t done. A few days later my dear friend, Callie, sent me this Rick devo (below). She had no idea that the Lord had just given us the devo about Pillars days earlier and that this one “just happened” to be based on the exact same passage of Scripture (I Cor. 15:58 – this time focusing on being “unmovable” – aka IMMOVABLE, one of our recurring themes):

The Necessary Attitude for Success

Today I want to talk to you about an attitude you must possess if you wish to achieve success in your life. If you study the lives of achievers and history-makers, you will find that all of them remarkably share certain attitudes that helped them reach success. …This non-negotiable attitude is found in First Corinthians 15:58, where Paul urges us, “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord….” … today I want you to consider the word “unmovable.” This word refers to one of the most critically important attitudes for those who want to please God and do something noteworthy in their lives. The word “IMMOVABLE” is the Greek word ametakinetos, which has several meanings:

~ It means not easily excited, shaken, or affected.
~ It describes something that is not changeable or unpredictable.
~ It was also frequently used in connection with stone structures or to refer to people who are known to have a strong and unbending character. (LIKE A PILLAR!)

Thus, this word portrays something that is solid, unbending, and not easily excited, shaken, or affected; a person, building, or place that is constant, stable, enduring, and dependable. … this is not a flighty, fickle, “here-today, gone-tomorrow,” “on-again, off-again” type of person; rather, this is someone who is constant, stable, and dependable. Because the word ametakinetos describes something IMMOVABLE, it carries the idea of someone whose attitude can be described as: Rock-solid, Fixed, Grounded, Established, Rooted, Anchored, Unvarying, Permanent, Stable.

When you start a new project or step out in faith to do something new, there will always be obstacles that try to get in your way. If you aren’t determined to be TOUGHER than the problems that arise, it won’t be long until you throw in the towel and give up. That’s why this word ametakinetos is so vital. It is an attitude that says, “I’m not moving until I see my dream come to pass!” Anyone who wants to be great or to do great things must learn to be constant, stable, dependable, inflexible, unbending, and unyielding in the face of challenges. This is a common characteristic shared by all great achievers. …

When you know God has called you to do something, you have to develop this kind of rock-solid, IMMOVABLE attitude about that task or project because one thing is certain: Satan will attempt to sidetrack you. That’s what the enemy does to anyone whom God calls to do a job! The devil will try to use people’s negative words, a lack of finances, adverse circumstances, discouragement, and a host of other tactics to move you off course from your intended goal. That’s why you have to make up your mind to be fixed, rooted, grounded, anchored, and unwavering in your COMMITMENT to accomplish the task God has set before you!

So don’t allow yourself to be inconsistent and wavering in your COMMITMENT to accomplish your God-given assignment. … In this world … people need to see what true COMMITMENT looks like! Be steadfast and IMMOVABLE in the place where God has called you. Make the rock-solid decision that you will be a “permanent fixture” within your divine call until your task is completed with excellence, REGARDLESS OF WHAT IT COSTS YOU! Being SALT

Seeing all of these precise confirmations of our previous themes among the characteristics of being the PILLARS God has called us to be leads us to the other amazing confirmations He gave from the movie “SALT!”

The first segment of extras from SALT (mentioned in note 8) where revelation began exploding was about the actress who played “SALT,” Angelina Jolie. While these things were being spoken of Angelina as a person, I knew the Spirit was actually speaking them to us about “SALT” (due to all the astounding confirmations God was giving through it) ~ confirming once again that these are qualities He’s calling US to possess in order to fulfill our role as SALT! So, I believe He wants us to read them as a job description or character description that He wants us to possess in order to fulfill our destinies.

SALT “knows NO LIMITS.” (My ears were immediately perked at hearing yet another confirmation of NO LIMITS and LIMITLESS!!). “Why does she know no limits? Because she knows NO FEAR. She’s GOING FOR IT. She has NO FEAR…. (Again) She’s pretty FEARLESS.” (I was THRILLED at this CONNECTION and CORRELATION the Lord was showing us between the words He’s given about having NO LIMIT and being LIMITLESS and the words He’s given about having NO FEAR and being FEARLESS! Absolutely BRILLIANT of HIM! This was also confirmation of another word He’d just given us a few days before – “Dare to dream and GO FOR IT.”)

SALT is “COMMITTED in a way that not many are. … She gives 150% every single day. … SHE’S AFRAID OF NOTHING. She never says “no.” (to the DIRECTOR’S requests ~ spiritually representing the Lord) Only “YES.” (This has 4 of our recurring key themes: being TOTALLY COMMITTED; giving EVERYTHING – represented by giving 150% – surrendering all, laying everything on the altar, withholding nothing [this is also confirmation of theme of “HARD WORK” He’s spoken about repeatedly in the past years that’s required to fulfill our calling]; being FEARLESS; and of saying “YES” to whatever the Lord asks of us. The first ones had come up many times previously, but the last one about saying “YES” had just come up numerous times that same week, so I was astonished to hear it again! We were hearing the Holy Spirit ALL OVER THIS segment!)

In talking about SALT’s training and preparation for fulfilling her role they said – “It’s HARD WORK all around.” We had to make her really TOUGH. (By this point, we were overwhelmed by the precise confirmations of so many of our themes. Here we see more confirmations of “Hard Work” and of having to become spiritually “TOUGH,” as shared in previous messages ~ allowing His IRON to enter our souls!)

SALT “DEMOLISHES AN ARMY OF OPPONENTS SINGLE-HANDEDLY” (This speaks of the STRENGTH/POTENCY of SALT and brings to mind note 2 – about getting our “SUPER” on. It also brings to mind Samson – Judges 14-16, Jonathan and his armor bearer – I Samuel 14, accounts of the Mighty Men – II Samuel 23,etc., and is further confirmation of Psalm 18, 27, and other passages He’s given us.)

The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways. Deuteronomy 28:7

The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked advance against me to devour me, it is my enemies and my foes who will stumble and fall. Though an army besiege me,my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then I will be confident. Psalm 27:1-3 (see whole Psalm)

For by You I can run through a troop, and by my God I can leap over a wall. Psalm 18:29 AMP In your strength I can crush an army; with my God I can scale any wall. NLT

When “SALT” began explaining why she is able to be this way, she said, “I have so much TRUST (in the DIRECTOR and HIS TEAM – spiritual application to God and the Body of Christ – more specifically, the divine “team” He connects us with to fulfill our destiny); They can hang me off a building or moving car, and I TRUST THAT I’M GOING TO BE OK.” The director/trainer then confirms, “She TRUSTS me; she trusts my TEAM.” (Further confirmation of themes of “TRUST And TEAMWORK” discussed in the Hobbit and Dark of the Moon notes!!)

In talking about something RISKY that SALT wanted to do in the film the director says: “SHE WOULDN’T TAKE “NO” FOR AN ANSWER.” (This does not represent rebellion and defiance toward God or those He has placed in authority over us, but rather brings to mind the attitude or description of the nature of faith as described in note 5 from all the words the Lord was giving from Hebrews 11:1 and Chapter 3 of the Dream Thieves study guide. This is the attitude we’re to have toward the opposition of the enemy in the spiritual realm that attempts to keep us from doing what God has called us to do. It represents a “bull-dog” faith that sinks its teeth in and refuses to be denied, becoming IMMOVABLE, like a PILLAR, in the face of his opposition. (See note 5 – Taking Back Lost Territory pts 1-4 )

They went on to say, “It’s great to work with someone who’s willing TO PUSH THE BOUNDARIES. (Again, not representing God’s boundaries, but the boundaries of natural man/the natural principles of the world that would try to LIMIT us and tell us that doing what God calls us to do is “impossible.” This was also more confirmation of the themes of NO LIMITS/LIMITLESS, doing the “impossible,” and other words He’d given such as “Think without Boundaries,” and “Break the Mold; Be Extraordinary.”)

Right after I finished transferring these things from my journal to this note (on 3/19) a notification popped on my screen saying ~ “See your future as LIMITLESS, and it will be!! With God ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!” (It was another Paula White status update – but truly it was a Holy Spirit status update – more confirmation!)

Becoming SALT and PILLARS – part 1

NOT ONLY DOES THE WORLD NEED US NOW; GOD NEEDS US!

One of the themes emphasized in note 7 was that “the world needs us now!” But God has also been emphasizing that HE needs us too! During the time I was praying about whether He wanted us to post the “Dark of the Moon” notes, He brought multiple confirmations of “PILLARS,” emphasizing that He established this world on His Pillars (Word) and that He has called US to be His PILLARS!

Then the Lord said to me, Out of the north the evil [which the prophets had foretold as the result of national sin] shall disclose itself and break forth upon all the inhabitants of the land. For, behold, I will call all the tribes of the kingdoms of the north, says the Lord; and they will come and set everyone his throne at the entrance of the gates of Jerusalem, against all its walls round about, and against all the cities of Judah [as God’s judicial act, a consequence of Judah’s wickedness]. And I will utter My judgments against them for all the wickedness of those who have forsaken Me, burned incense to other gods, and worshiped the works of their own hands [idols]. But you [Jeremiah], gird up your loins! Arise and tell them all that I command you. Do not be dismayed and break down at the sight of their faces, lest I confound you before them and permit you to be overcome. For I, behold, I have made you this day a fortified city and an IRON PILLAR and bronze walls against the whole land—against the [successive] kings of Judah, against its princes, against its priests, and against the people of the land [giving you divine strength which no hostile power can overcome]. And they shall fight against you, but they shall not [finally] prevail against you, for I am with you, says the Lord, to deliver you. Jeremiah 1:14-19

This PILLARS word brought back to mind all the previous words He’s given about how He wants His IRON to enter our souls so that we become IRONMEN/IRONWOMEN who are “immovable, unshakeable, unbreakable, unstoppable, unreachable (by the enemy), impenetrable, indomitable, indestructible,” etc (all the other key words He’s given).

Then the night of March 9, He asked us if we believe several things. I wasn’t having trouble believing a few of the things He asked about, but I was having a hard time fully wrapping my mind around one ~ His statement that He NEEDS us (initially presented as a personal word). The next day I told Him I was still having a hard time with that one. I can look back at my prayer journal and see how often I say “I NEED YOU!” to Him, but God, “Do You really NEED me/us ~ Do You need anything?” I asked that if He was really saying this, to please confirm it. Two days later, right after receiving another word about PILLARs, I received this word from Rick Renner’s Sparkling Gems:

You Are One Of God’s PILLARS!

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, UNMOVABLE, always abounding in the work of the Lord…. —1 Corinthians 15:58

… In First Corinthians 15:58, Paul writes, “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord….” I want you to look at the word “steadfast” in this verse, because it illustrates what kind of person God considers to be a “rock” in His family. What does it mean to be steadfast? This word “steadfast” is the Greek word edraios, which has several meanings:

~ It means to be stationary, such as something that sits in one place for a long, long time.
~ It describes something that is firm and steady.
~ It was frequently used in connection with foundations or support structures in buildings.
~ It portrays something that is strong, unbendable, UNBREAKABLE, and permanent, such as a well-built foundation for a large building or a strong column that holds up a roof.

So when Paul urges us to be “steadfast,” he’s calling on us to be totally reliable…. We should be stationary in the roles God has called us to fulfill in the Body of Christ. We shouldn’t be quickly shaken or easily lured to some other place or some other task. We must be like PILLARS, foundations, or supports in the house of God.

…What is the purpose of a huge stone pillar in a building? Its purpose is to support the roof or some other important section of the building, correct? What would happen if you suddenly jerked that pillar out of its place? You’d find out very quickly that the pillar had been essential to holding up the place! Remove that pillar, and the entire building would collapse into a heap of rubble, creating a horrible, terrible mess! When God tells you to be “steadfast,” He is asking you to be a “rock” in His house — like a pillar that faithfully stands in its place and helps to hold things together. He wants you to be so dependable that people lean on you, counting on the fact that you’ll always be there to help keep things together. And when events occur that shake up everyone’s world a bit, God wants people to look to you as one who isn’t easily excited, shaken, or affected. …

Don’t view yourself as SMALL, INSIGNIFICANT, or UNIMPORTANT. GOD NEEDS YOU, and other people are depending on you. It’s time for you to realize that God meant for you to be a part of the foundation of the Body of Christ! You can be a “rock” in His family and a person on whom others can lean and depend. If you’re thinking differently than this, you need to change your thinking. Instead of focusing on how insignificant you are in God’s great plan for these last days, start focusing on becoming steadfast, IMMOVABLE, and always abounding in the work the Lord has assigned to you! This brought to mind a prophecy we’d received years ago (from Paula Kay) about being PILLARS in God’s house. I knew God was not only giving us a word about Pillars for the 2nd time that day to confirm that He wanted us to post the “Dark of the Moon” notes, but that He was also confirming His word through this message that HE NEEDS US! HE NEEDS ME and HE NEEDS YOU! Although it’s a corporate word, just as He spoke it to us as a very personal word, He wants each member of His Body to receive it as a personal word ~ recognizing our worth and value to Him and our significance to His plan. Yes, He needs His Body corporately in the earth to be about His business and to “occupy” until He comes ~ but He also needs each Body part, each of us individually, to get in the place He’s called us to be and to work together with the rest of the Body to fulfill our roles as His mouthpiece, His eyes, ears, hands, feet, and His PILLARS who Uphold His Truth. As Rick alluded to, even one pillar removed from its place and not fulfilling its purpose can make a significant difference! God needs each one of us individually to discover the specific place He’s called us to be and the special and unique role He chose and created us for when He knit us together in our mother’s womb. He needs us to get in that place and fulfill that role, working together with the rest of the Body to be His Salt, Light, and Pillars ~ to do our part to manifest His Glory and Splendor and to bring in the final harvest. ALL the parts of His body need to be functioning as they were created to in order for Him to fulfill His purpose in the earth through us to the maximum potential. God Needs Us!

This is where the other confirmation mentioned at the end of note 7 fits in (links to previous notes at end). As we were sitting in church the next Sunday, already amazed by some of the other confirmations we’d received for that note, suddenly, we heard our pastor say – “GOD NEEDS US!” “The world does not depend upon you, but yet the world’s depending on you! The Kingdom is not going to rise and fall on you or me, but we have to understand GOD NEEDS US working in the harvest.” We knew beyond the shadow of all doubt that God was confirming this message to us again, but He still wasn’t done! The next Thursday He gave us a third confirmation, through one of the dynamic ladies in leadership who felt she was supposed to prophesy over everyone on the worship team that night! Just the night before, Jesse and I had been discussing what it seemed God might be asking us to do based on all the words He’d been giving us about TOTAL SURRENDER, COMPLETE COMMITMENT, SACRIFICE, divesting ourselves of COMFORT and CONVENIENCE, LEAPS OF FAITH, and having the GUTS to get in the “CAR.” After we’d been asking Him specific questions and examining the words/confirmations we’d received, due to the ramifications of what it seemed He was saying, Jesse asked the Lord for an “audible” word of confirmation if this was truly what He meant. He gave us this the very next night through Ms. Barb as she prophesied over us!! In addition to that powerful confirmation, the message she gave us also contained another confirmation that God NEEDS us!!

Follow up on confession #8 – “The SAME”‏ – HFJ40

This week, while the Scripture confession we’re meditating on is how God’s Word is life to our WHOLE BODY, and HEALING and HEALTH to ALL OUR FLESH, I’ve been listening intently to see how He would reinforce that truth to help make it greater heart revelation. I was not necessarily desiring confirmations of that specific verse to come up repeatedly ~ but was desiring to receive whatever WORD He knew would most reinforce this truth and would be LIFE to my WHOLE BODY/HEALING AND HEALTH to ALL MY FLESH. The Scripture that has emerged this week as a theme (probably at least 4 times now) has been Hebrews 13:8

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

There’s sufficient power-packed revelation in that one Scripture, that if we could soak it up and grasp its full implications, it could definitely enable us to receive Life in our WHOLE BODY and Healing and Health in ALL our Flesh.

The One who walked the earth 2,000 years ago, who healed ALL who came to Him in faith, is the SAME JESUS today as He was then. We don’t have to just read the accounts of the wonderful things He did that are recorded in Scripture, wishing that somehow we could have been alive during the time He was here in the flesh so He could minister to us. We ARE ALIVE DURING THE TIME HE IS HERE to minister to us. He is here IN US now, still able and willing to do all those things we read about in His Word ~ still able and willing to heal ALL who come to Him in faith! He is the Same Today! Christ IN US, the HOPE (confident expectation) of GLORY!

But of course, the recurrence of this verse in light of our confession also brought to mind the connection God made in my mind years ago that since JESUS IS THE WORD, we can also say JESUS is life to our WHOLE body, and healing and health to ALL OUR FLESH! Again, this is to be combined with the revelation that He is IN US.
~ IN US to give life to our whole body, healing and health to all our flesh (which we can meditate on as we partake of His body- the Bread of Life – in communion).
~ IN US with His same Spirit and same power that raised Him from the dead in order to give LIFE to our mortal bodies.
~ IN US to take care of our body as one would his OWN BODY that he loves – because we ARE members of HIS OWN BODY that He loves.

But now we’re getting into future confessions (hard to resist because of how He ties them all together and uses one to further confirm and re-emphasize another). This is one of the future pages of confessions that the Lord was bringing to mind in light of focusing on JESUS as the LIVING WORD ~ the same yesterday, today, and forever ~ who is IN US bringing Life to our WHOLE BODY, HEALING and HEALTH to ALL OUR FLESH:

“MY BODY IS FOR THE LORD and THE LORD IS FOR MY BODY! (from I Corinthians 6:13b)”

I hope that adding these new facets to your meditation (that Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and is the Word Who is in us – with the same Spirit and same power – giving life to our whole body and health to all our flesh) will help confession #8 come alive and take root in an even deeper way.

We’ve been getting words about “SUDDENLY” for several months (which goes along with “in it’s time, I will do this SWIFTLY!” from Is. 60 too), including another word He gave us LAST NIGHT about OUTBREAKS of DIVINE SUDDENLIES that are on the way!! Have still been trying to finish up the next notes in the series to share what He’s been saying we need to do to be in ALIGNMENT for these things!! Get Ready!!

Confession #8‏ – HFJ39

The THOUSAND FOLD

So, last Tuesday, after what our friend, Stephen, commented on my status, I asked the Lord if we could talk more about that thousand-fold. (wink wink, nudge nudge)

Wednesday night the first confirmation of a thousand-fold came. Saturday morning a second one. In astonishment I asked, “LORD, are you really speaking this for us NOW?” Immediately He spoke ~ “The least of you will become A THOUSAND, the smallest a mighty nation. I am the LORD; in its time I will do this swiftly.”!!!!! (confirmation 3) When I looked up those words to find where they were in Scripture and saw they were from Isaiah 60 (v. 22) I was in awe, since that chapter is full of so many other confirmations of things He’s spoken (and have been recurring themes).

Just to make sure He’d really spoken that passage to me and was giving us that chapter again (and it wasn’t just my own thought I heard), I asked that if this was truly from Him, that He would continue to confirm. Later that morning, Jesse came down from his time of seeking and showed me his notes; I was overwhelmed to discover the Lord had given him Isaiah 59-60 in answer to what he’d asked about!!!!! (confirmation 4)

Then, when we went to bed that night – the next confession on our list was from ISAIAH 60; it included many of the verses from the chapter and ended with – “We ARE THE SHOOT the Lord has planted, the work of His hands for the DISPLAY OF HIS SPLENDOR. THE LEAST OF US WILL BECOME A THOUSAND, AND THE SMALLEST A MIGHTY NATION. God is the Lord; in its time, He will do this swiftly.”

3 confirmations of Isaiah 60 in one day!!! 5 confirmations of the thousand-fold in 5 days!!! Be Encouraged Saints and Get Ready for the THOUSAND-FOLD HARVEST of SOULS!!! He’s calling us to “ARISE AND SHINE” NOW in the midst of great darkness and assuring us that “in its time, He will do it swiftly!”

Powerful Confirmations to Wrap up Confession #7‏ – HFJ38

Many confirmations of confession 7 have continued this past week. This has occurred not only through receiving the verse it is based on a number of other times, but also through other confirmations of how God was applying that verse for us ~ emphasizing the necessity of FIXING OUR EYES, HEARTS, MINDS on what HE SAYS/HIS WORD SAYS is TRUE – even if it’s INVISIBLE, UNSEEN to us now – because we know these SPIRITUAL AND ETERNAL TRUTHS are SUPERIOR to what we see and experience in the visible, seen, natural, TEMPORARY realm. He’s continuing to stress that if, through FAITH, we will align ourselves with and stay in agreement with the INVISIBLE, ETERNAL TRUTH, it has the POWER to TRUMP and TRANSFORM the visible, temporary facts!!!! He also connected Romans 8:6 with this theme earlier in the week, bringing back to mind this confession:

“I will not set my mind on (think on, be controlled and dominated by) the things of the flesh. I set my mind on (think on, and am controlled and dominated by) the things of the Spirit (the truth of God’s Word – His promises – who He says I am, and what He says He’s purchased for me) – which produces LIFE and PEACE (peace = wholeness; nothing missing, nothing broken, all necessary good) (Romans 8:6 Greek)”

As I meditated on this, I felt God was emphasizing again the theme of the vital importance of what we FOCUS on (things of the Spirit vs. things of the flesh). He brought back to mind the themes of the “Slaying the Giants” notes, reminding me again not to focus on the “giants” of opposition that attempt to exalt themselves above and contradict what God has promised. He doesn’t want us to see ourselves in comparison to “the giants” and listen to their report (the report of the flesh or circumstances) that makes what God said seem “impossible,” but to KEEP OUR FOCUS ON ~ OUR EYES FIXED ON ~ HIM and HIS PROMISES. He wants us to focus on how small and insignificant the “giants” and their lying reports are in comparison to Him. He wants our attention on how BIG and MIGHTY He is and how His promises ensure that HE is not only ABLE but WILLING and READY to cause us to dispossess, drive out, and destroy every “giant”or obstacle that stands in our way, so we can fully possess the land He’s given us through Christ.

So, today I was thrilled to find yet another word of confirmation along these lines (posted by Rick Renner, but written by someone else):

Focus and Tenacity: The Only Way to Get There From Here

Focus is a powerful thing. Proper focus will keep you centered and on course regardless of intervening influences. Without it, you won’t reach your desired destination. Staying focused during a crisis, however, is easier said than done. In fact, staying focused to persevere through difficult circumstances is one of the hardest things you will ever do — especially when you’ve been caught off guard or hit with a flurry of unexpected blows.

If you’ve ever had to “HANG IN THERE” to see a dream or goal come to pass when you really felt like throwing in the towel, you’ve already discovered that your biggest fight is to hold yourself calm no matter what. It takes focus to maintain your confident expectation when everything around you begins to spiral downward, becoming the very opposite of what you envisioned. To get through that kind of crisis, you must simply KEEP MOVING FORWARD. This is challenging to do — particularly when your world is reeling and you aren’t even sure which way is up, let alone forward. But in order to make progress and lay hold of your destiny, you have to TOUGHEN UP and ENDURE HARDSHIP, just like Jesus, who “for the joy set before Him, Jesus endured the Cross, disregarding its shame” (see Hebrews 12:1-3).

MAKE GOD’S VIEWPOINT THE FILTER THROUGH WHICH YOU SEE EVERY SITUATION. THAT WILL KEEP YOU FOCUSED. YOU CANNOT DENY THE DIFFICULTIES YOU FACE, BUT YOU CAN DENY THEM THE POWER TO DESTROY YOU! REDIRECT YOUR FOCUS AWAY FROM THE DIFFICULTIES AND FOCUS ON THE ONE who said: “Fear not [there is nothing to fear], for I am with you; do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties…” (Isaiah 41:10 AMP).

MERCY!!!! Are you seeing all of these precise word for word confirmations?!?!

If you look back at both parts of “Onward Christian Soldiers” and other previous notes, they will astound you. “Onward Christian Soldiers” alone has devotionals entitled – Endure Hardness” and “Hang In There And Don’t Give Up“, not to mention the message in that one and the “March, March, March….” notes (1, 2, 3) to Keep moving/marching forward!!!!! Also I see more confirmations here of becoming “TOUGH” and hardened to difficulties (letting His IRON enter our souls – as in previous messages). I hope you are also as overwhelmed as I was by the precise and powerful confirmations from the last few notes that we are to stay FOCUSED on (keep our eyes fixed on and our thoughts/words in agreement with) God’s viewpoint (His Invisible, Eternal, Truth) – NOT DENYING that the contradictory facts exist, but DENYING THEM THE RIGHT to exist in our lives because of what Jesus has done for us!!!!!!! PRAISING GOD FOR THESE PRECISE CONFIRMATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lord, help us fully meditate on these truths, digest, and absorb them, so that they become part of us ~ heart revelation that produces life transformation and covenant manifestation in EVERY area of our lives! Please continue to pray for us in this, as we are for you! Confession #8 coming soon…

Continued Revelation from 3 More Films (“SALT,” “SH:Game of Shadows,” and “MI:Ghost Protocol.”) – part 3

The additional confirmations of these themes came when Jesse and I finally watched two other movies that had come to our hearts/minds repeatedly over the past several weeks as we’ve prayed for the Lord’s guidance in what we needed to see/understand. Jesse kept bringing up “A Game of Shadows” (Sherlock Holmes), and I kept “seeing” the front cover of “Ghost Protocol” (Mission Impossible). Having seen them in the past, but not really remembering their plots, we were once again amazed at the confirmations.

BOTH of them were about an enemy trying to start WORLD WAR. Neither of us remembered that about either of the movies. The name Game of Shadows alludes to a match between good and evil where things are hidden, concealed, obscure ~ where darkness is being cast over an area because something is blocking the light that would otherwise reveal it. (“Shadows” was also significant to me because of things the Lord’s been re-emphasizing to us in the past year about the enemy’s tactics and weapons being lies, deceptions, illusions, shadows – in comparison to the Truth of God’s Word. They have no real power to harm us if we are IN CHRIST, walking in the full revelation of our covenant with Him and the full armor He’s supplied.)

Rather than dissecting these films in depth, I’ll just mention a couple of important themes

Game of Shadows

Hiding intentions for war behind talk of peace:
The movie involves a peace summit. Though the main enemy’s (Moriarty’s) intent is war, he is brought in as an advisor to the peace process! (more allusion to the antichrist) The idea is presented that some of the others involved in the peace process were also aware of his deceptive intentions, since when Sherlock tried to inform his government about Moriarty’s plans, his warnings were unheeded. There were several lines surrounding this that we felt were significant:

When Sherlock realizes the importance of the peace summit in the plans of the enemy, he says, “What better place to start a war than at a peace summit.”

Once there, consulting Sherlock’s brother, Mycroft Holmes says, “Although these gentlemen may be talking peace, believe me, they’re readying their armies at home. … I passed your (intel) on to my superiors, but they’re the ones who brought Moriarty in to advise on the peace process in the first place. He has positioned himself brilliantly….”

Ideology of War being needed to bring World Peace:
Watson says, “Why would he attack all the nations only to unite them?” (As mentioned in the Hobbit notes, this is a strategy that the New Age ideology of the New World Order embraces. The idea is that they must destroy the present world order so their new world order can arise from the ashes. For years we’ve heard reports of similar beliefs in Islamic ideology ~ that they must create chaos to usher in their “Mahdi” – the ruler they’re anticipating who many believe will rule 7 years before Judgment Day – eerily paralleling Biblical teaching about the antichrist. We have even seen video footage of many praying down into a well for this leader to come up from the depths of the earth. When understood in light of Scripture, this has profound implications.).

Several sites said that Moriarty can mean “warrior of the sea” which stood out to me since the primary human villain in Dark of the Moon was Dillan, whose name meant “son of the sea.” That had evoked thoughts of the beast associated with the antichrist kingdom arising out of the sea (Revelation 13). This is not the first Biblical prophecy involving beasts arising from the sea. We see this in Daniel’s vision (Daniel 7) as well, where it’s revealed that the beasts represent kingdoms. Revelation 17 reveals that “seas” (waters) can represent multitudes of people. So the recurring theme of evil characters associated with the “sea” has caused us to wonder if the Lord is revealing this kingdom (beast) is about to arise.

We must understand the urgency of the hour and know what to do:
Highlighting again the urgency of the spiritual warfare in this hour and our need to be awake, alert, seeking, interceding, and walking circumspectly, in the final confrontation between Holmes and Moriarty, as they use a game of chess to speak metaphorically to one another about their real conflict, Moriarty says, “Your clock is ticking. May I remind you this is blitz chess? A single miscalculation will cost you the game.”

(And of course, I must also include the quote used previously in the Elastigirl notes)
After discovering the enemy’s plans, Sherlock says,

“If we can … stop him…we will…prevent the collapse of Western Civilization; ……..no pressure”

(more on this in the next note)

Ghost Protocol

Once again, we were surprised to find that RUSSIA is a major part of Ghost Protocol, and the theme of racing to stop nuclear war between Russia and the United States. (Again, though we had seen SALT and this film before, Russia’s significance in both had not previously stood out enough for us to remember. Since this is the movie that came to my heart from the time that Jesse was led to SALT, we were amazed by the similarities.)

Like with SALT, we see that the main character, Ethan Hunt, is falsely accused by some of being the one who is causing destruction instead of being recognized as trying to stop it. Therefore, though he is truly attempting to expose and stop the real enemy from destroying the US and starting war, he is perceived by some as being the enemy. They waste their time and energy pursuing him and opposing his efforts instead of working with him to fight the true enemy. Ethan is a Hebrew name meaning firm, strong, constant, and enduring. It is often associated with Ethan Allen, an American Revolutionary and soldier in the American War of Independence. There is also an Ethan in Scripture who authored Psalm 89. I was AMAZED when I saw this, since the Lord has brought up Psalm 89 repeatedly in the past several months in connection with a series of other words.

The deception that the enemy’s counterfeit version of war is required for peace and progress:
Ethan’s disavowed IMF team realizes that Kurt Hendricks (alias Cobalt), a specialist in nuclear end-game theory and strategist for the Kremlin, has taken the nuclear launch device from the Kremlin and one of his operatives has stolen the codes to activate it. (Hendrick is the combination of two words meaning “an enclosure or hedging in” and “ruler.”) When the team listens to a video of Hendricks, we hear his darkened ideology, “How will the world finally end? It is my job to predict the unthinkable, to treat the death of billions as a game. After 20 years of this, I was numb, until a new question crossed my mind. What happens after the end of the world? Every 2 or 3 million years, some natural catastrophe devastates all life on earth, but life goes on, and what little remains is made stronger. Put simply, world destruction is an unpleasant, but necessary part of evolution. What happens then, I wondered, when mankind faces the next end of the world? I looked to Hiroshima, Nagasaki, thriving cities, rebuilt from the ashes, monuments to the unimaginable dedicated to the concept of peace. It occurred to me here that nuclear war might have a place in the natural order, but only if it could be controlled….”

This ties back to the ideology briefly mentioned in A Game of Shadows when Watson said, “Why would he attack all the nations only to unite them?” Here we see more confirmation in Ghost Protocol of those who adhere to the deception that it’s their responsibility to bring destruction in order to eventually bring “peace” (through their new world order which we know as the antichrist kingdom). Ghost Protocol further highlights the New Age belief that this is necessary in order for the human race to go to a higher state of evolution. (Some who have come out of that belief system have said that it’s believed that the Christian world-view, and Christians themselves, are the greatest impediment to this evolution and their new world order taking place, and that it cannot successfully occur until all who resist their ideology – primarily Christians – are “removed” from earth).

When Hendricks succeeds at launching the nuclear warhead, he demonstrates his backward belief system by saying, “May there be peace on earth.” We see the nuclear missile launch from under the water. It came UP FROM THE SEA (which again stood out due to the previous references of evil characters whose names were connected with the sea, bringing to mind Rev.13) and headed toward the U.S. Though there is a truth in the idea that sometimes conflict/war is necessary to bring peace (e.g. our fight to stop the demonic plans of Hitler and other tyrannical rulers), and that we will see this truth in its purest form in the end through what Jesus does to overthrow satan’s kingdom and establish His own, these philosophies represented in these films once again demonstrate the enemy’s attempt to counterfeit the Truth with a perversion of it (or bizarro version of it – see Signs of the End and The Inception of Inversion).

We have continued receiving confirmations since writing this note. Though the Lord highlighting all of these plans of the enemy through these films may seem like all bad news, the additional powerful confirmations about what He’s calling us to do/be are in the next note (note 9). If we adopt the viewpoint that prophesying anything negative or warnings that might cause people to fear is of the devil, we have misunderstood the Word. Jesus Himself and others throughout the New Testament prophesied things that could be labeled as negative. For those who are truly in Him, He tells us not to fear, even in the face of prophesied destruction, persecution, and death. For those who are not truly in Him, the fear of the Lord that can come from hearing the alarms He sounds and warnings He gives can help them turn to Him.

Lastly, as the man from Clement’s ministry emphasized at the end of his video, we need to know these things so that we know how to pray. The Lord unveiling these things should motivate us to set aside all distractions and faithfully and fervently pray for our leaders, our nation, the church, and the lost all the more, to seek Him with all our hearts and walk as closely with Him as possible, and to discover and fulfill our Kingdom assignments.
