What Will A Man KEEP In Exchange For His Destiny

“I have something you need to write about” my sister said with a hint of amusement in her voice.

After much planning, dreaming, and anticipation, her family’s Disney World vacation was finally just around the corner. Yet strangely, my five year old niece, “princess” Ava, who had formerly been elated at the prospect of meeting all her sister-princesses from Disney, began to have second thoughts. She had learned that her school would have their annual Oktoberfest in her absence and the thought of missing this event began to weigh heavily on her mind. After all, she had experienced Oktoberfest before; she was familiar with it; she knew what it was like and what she could expect. In addition, all her friends would be there. So she was certain she would have a good time. Disney World, on the other hand, she did not have first-hand knowledge of. Though my sister and her husband had told her repeatedly what exciting things awaited her there and how she would love it SO MUCH MORE than Oktoberfest, she was still having a hard time being convinced by their testimony alone. She wrestled with the idea of having to give up something she knew for the opportunity to experience the unknown. Thus she attempted to persuade her parents that she would prefer to forgo her long-awaited adventure to Disney World in order to stay home for the 2-hour tried and true event ~ where she could at least rely on getting to stick her head in a tub of water to bob for apples. (Really?) As my sister related this in awe to her husband, and later to me, she pondered how often God must feel as she felt in that moment ~ trying to convince His children that what He has planned for us is so much better than what we think we want.

She related this to how absurd it must seem to the Lord that so many choose the broad road of following the flesh/world, though He’s told us where it will end, and so few believe Him enough to choose the narrow road of following Him, though He’s told us eternal life in His Presence and the incomprehensible wonders of Heaven await us at this road’s end.

This brought to mind, Matthew 16:26

 For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?

jacob and esauThe Lord immediately brought to mind the story of Jacob and Esau, reminding me of how often people make the mistake of exchanging their “inheritance” for a “bowl of stew.” This can certainly apply in the most critical and tragic sense to decisions regarding eternal Inheritance/Destiny, as my sister and I had previously discussed. But the Lord also began to relate this in my mind to decisions regarding the fulfillment of our earthly destinies ~ to all the things God tries to convince us are worth the cost of giving up in order to have His will and plan for our lives. How many times are we, like Esau, tempted to trade our birthright/destiny for a bowl of stew? How often do people settle for something far less than what they were meant to be/have/do? We’re prone to falling into the same trap as Esau when we place a higher value on instant gratification than we do on inheritance. Though the flesh screams for the easy way to get what we want in the moment, God’s Spirit counsels us to place a higher value on what’s truly best for us in the long run, even if it means we have to temporarily suffer or sacrifice what we want right now. While this can have a multitude of applications, I realized it was further confirmation of things He’d already been speaking through theChoosing the Glory Road to the Utmost Lifenotes (pts 1-3). Not only do we face choices between good and bad in life, but as mentioned in part 2 of that series, we often face choices between good and best. These choices we make, whether in small, seemingly insignificant, daily decisions, or at more significant crossroads that we recognize as critical junctures, can determine whether we will reach the ultimate fulfillment of the destiny He designed us for. Will we choose the comfortable, convenient, familiar, more socially acceptable, road of least resistance ~sacrificing what we most want in order to get what we want now? Or will we forge ahead on the uncomfortable, inconvenient, unfamiliar, unpopular, road of obstacles and opposition to reach God’s best purpose for us and His Kingdom ~ suffering and sacrificing now to ultimately have what we most want later?

Next the Lord showed me that Ava’s dilemma also illustrated another message He’d been speaking to us recently ~ the truth that sometimes we have to LET GO of what we already have in our Jesus and little girl with Teddy bears - Just Trust Mehands in order to receive what He has in His. Ava had to LET GO of something she wanted (and had previously possessed) and empty her hands of what she was trying to hold on to in order to have open hands to receive the new thing that was planned for her – the EXCEEDINGLY-ABUNDANTLY-ABOVE-ALL-SHE-COULD-ASK-HOPE-OR-IMAGINE-BETTER thing. I realized this was more confirmation of a sermon He’d led us to listen to a couple of days earlier (which was packed with timely words for us). The message, “If you can give it up, you can have it all,” also emphasized how at times God requires us to give up what we have in order to get what He has for us next.

The very next morning, I was AMAZED to see more precise confirmation of this through John Hagee’s devo:

You Have To Give Up What You Have… To Get What God Has For You!

Some of you … are tired and exhausted.  Quitting looks good and victory seems impossible.  But Egypt is not your inheritance, the promised land is.  Forget what is behind and press on to what God has for you. … You have to give up what you consider good for what God says is better.  Why is it that when God gives us something, we roll it up and hold on to it like a bulldog biting the last bone in the world?  We say, “I’ll never give this up.”  God says, “I have something better for you,” but you don’t believe it.  If God is trying to take something away from you, let him.  Because what he replaces it with will be milk and honey, not the mud pits of Egypt. (Copyright, JHM Ministries)

With this confirmation, I knew this theme truly was something God not only wanted to stress to us at this time, but was also for us to share (as my sister originally suggested). (We received other beyond-the-shadow-of-a-doubt confirmations as well, including an email from a dear friend while I was finishing this post, sharing that she believes God’s calling her family to leave something good for something GREAT!)

princess Ava at DisneyI’m happy to report that Ava did relinquish Oktoberfest and made the long journey to Disney World. And once she began to get a taste of all that was in store for her, there was no more question of whether her sacrifice was worth it. She was so enthralled by the experience of her first roller coaster (Big Thunder Mountain – the only one she was tall enough to ride 🙂 ) that she could not stop proclaiming to everyone she encountered how GREAT the ride was. To the amusement of everyone around, she threw her arms around my sister’s legs exclaiming, “Thank you, Mommy! Thank you, Mommy! Thank you, Mommy!” repeatedly. I can’t help but wonder if some of her uncontainable gratitude was due to the realization of all she would have missed out on if her parents had let her, with her limited knowledge, choose to stay home, in her comfort zone, with what was familiar, and where all her friends would be, instead of insisting that she trust them and take this adventure into the great unknown.

I pray that God will help all of us recognize anything He’s saying we must let go of, lay down, or sacrifice in order to receive and take hold of the new thing, the better Ava in Shannon Bogle pose at Disneything, the best thing that He’s trying to give us. May none of us KEEP anything that will cost us the fulfillment of our destiny. I pray none will hold onto what’s comfortable, convenient, familiar, and popular in exchange for our promised land. May we have razor-sharp discernment to recognize every choice not only between good and bad, but good and best – between every Oktoberfest and Disney World – between every bowl of stew and our inheritance – and have the wisdom, strength, and courage to choose best.

Blessings and Prayers,
Laura

Father, we come before you again in the Name of Jesus and lay all on the altar. We declare that there’s nothing we have that we esteem as being worth more than knowing You and knowing and fulfilling Your will for our lives. Help us recognize and identify anything that’s hindering or holding us back from doing so. Help us realize anything You’re putting your finger on that You’re asking us to walk away from/let go of/remove from our lives, whether bad or even just good, so we’re able to receive what You say is BEST. Please help us understand what You’re asking of us and help us obey without delay. Father, our lives are worth NOTHING to us except that we may fulfill the purpose for which you created, called, appointed, and SENT us. We lay everything down and open our hands wide to You.

Convicted by the life of…Hitler?

Several weeks ago we saw Monuments Men, which portrayed a side of Hitler’s mad mission we’d never known. As we watched, I suddenly found myself strangely convicted by this infamous man’s life through the things God was highlighting to me. He showed me that Hitler actually DID the very things He’s been trying to compel us to do in regard to pursuing and fulfilling His call on our lives.
He had:
~ a huge visionWWII map 2
~ strategic plans for how to accomplish it
~ tangible goals that he worked hard to achieve, which resulted in advancing into and taking new territory
~ passion, enthusiasm, burning desire, and zeal that enabled him to impart his vision to many others and convert them to his “kingdom” and its cause
~ focus, total commitment to, and wholehearted pursuit of his dream, regardless of the cost

Of course, though he may look admirable by these criteria, the problem was that he had received his vision and dream from the pit of hell rather than the Throne of Heaven. He truly tapped into supernatural power to help him persuade people and advance his agenda, but it was not the power of God. Once again, as God had done years before, He began to convict me through the revelation of how often those in the kingdom of darkness are much more devoted and determined to carrying out the enemy’s will than God’s people are to Him and His purpose. He brought to my remembrance something I’d shared inGet Your Super On“:

“…He reminded me about an interview from years ago of a woman who had been delivered out of the occult/witchcraft and had given her life to Him. In the interview, she lamented that the people from her background were much more serious about and committed to fasting and wholeheartedly seeking and serving the devil (and demon spirits/”spirit guides”) than most Christians she’d met since her conversion were to wholeheartedly seeking and serving the Lord. … You may need to read that again … What a tragic observation! When we see the dedication of those serving the devil and the supernatural power they’re operating in as a result, if we weren’t already motivated, this should convict, provoke, and compel us to get focused, committed, and determined to seek the Lord wholeheartedly, to do His will, and to fully walk in all He has provided. God forbid that those who follow satan, whose ultimate design is to eternally destroy them, should be more dedicated to seeking him and carrying out his will than we are to seeking our Lord and doing the will of the One who paid the ultimate price to save us! We owe him EVERYTHING!”

The following Sunday, as we listened to our church’s guest speaker from Uganda (Pastor Deo Musoke), God confirmed that He truly is emphasizing this message again. Pastor Deo began to share about what a busy time of year the coming season (leading up to Christmas) is for satanists. He talked about how dedicated they are to fasting and other spiritual disciplines in order to keep themselves in position to operate in the greatest amount of power possible so they can stir up the maximum trouble during this time. The implication was that many of God’s people are far less committed than these satanists – and that has to change. We knew it was no coincidence that we were hearing this testimony within the same week God had been stressing these things to us again.

Afterward He began showing us through multiple avenues that according to His assessment many are “dead” or almost “dead” (“mostly dead” – for Princess Bride fans) (as in Revelation 3:1-6) or “lukewarm” (as in 3:14-22) toward Him and/or His call on their lives who may not realize it. He emphasized that we must “Rouse [ourselves] and keep awake (Revelation 3:2). He also spoke in terms of needing to be “SERIOUS” about His call (not “half-hearted,” apathetic, complacent, passive, lacking vision, purpose, passion, desire, motivation, etc. which He defined as “playing games”). He emphasized Romans 12:11:

Never lag in zeal and in earnest endeavor; be aglow and burning with the Spirit, serving the Lord. AMP
*****
Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically.
NLT

He also brought back to mind this verse He’d given often in the past season:

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be firm (steadfast), immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord [always being superior, excelling, doing more than enough in the service of the Lord], knowing and being continually aware that your labor in the Lord is not futile [it is never wasted or to no purpose].

Through Revelation 3:14-22, He re-emphasized that He’s calling His people to repent and once again be white-hot on fire for Him and His purpose. From the AMP version of this passage, He highlighted the words – ENTHUSIASTIC, IN EARNEST (which went along with previous words He’d given – SERIOUS and FERVENT), BURNING (which went along with the theme of being ON FIRE), and ZEAL (a word He’d previously stressed through Rom 12:11 and others). Then from Revelation 4:5, He showed me that His 7-fold Holy Spirit is represented by 7 blazing torches burning:

Out from the throne came flashes of lightning and rumblings and peals of thunder, and in front of the throne seven blazing torches burned, which are the seven Spirits of God [the sevenfold Holy Spirit];

Baptized with fireIt’s no accident that in the midst of a series of words about His people needing to be BURNING with ZEAL and ON FIRE for Him and His will that He led me to this passage to remind me that His Holy Spirit is a BLAZING, BURNING FIRE. Therefore, if we need more FIRE in our lives, we need more of His SPIRIT. Again, this goes back to the message ofGet Your Super On.The only way for us to get in and be kept in this condition He’s requiring is to be baptized in and ever-filled to overflowing with the Holy Spirit.

The very next day after He showed me these things, we were OVERWHELMED when we turned on a past Joyce Meyer episode (trying to catch up from several weeks behind) and began hearing precise word for word confirmations. She said,

“The Bible teaches us from Romans 12:11 that we are to be FULL OF ZEAL, ENTHUSIASTIC, and ON FIRE. …God just seems to like FIRE. The Bible says that our God is a consuming FIRE (Heb 12:29). He appeared to Moses in a BURNING bush…. He [led Israel] with a pillar of FIRE at night. Sacrifices had to be offered by FIRE. On Pentecost the Holy Spirit fell and tongues of FIRE settled on the people. Jeremiah said ‘His Word is like FIRE shut up in my bones.’ II Thessalonians – He will be revealed from Heaven in a BLAZING FIRE. In Revelation He’s depicted as having eyes of FIRE. And I love this one – a FIRE goes before Him and BURNS up all His enemies. Maybe if we had a little more fire, we’d have less trouble with the enemy.”

This past Wednesday night, during our mid-week prayer service, we knew our pastor must be hearing the same thing from the Lord as he prayed repeatedly for the FIRE OF GOD, for God’s people to be ON FIRE and BURNING for Him. We were also blown away when a guest briefly stood and gave what, for us, was an undeniable confirmation. Earlier that day, God had given me Isaiah 51 and 52 in answer to a question I’d asked. That night, this man told how God had compelled him to get up the night before to pray (the night of the 2nd blood moon) and when he finally obeyed – God gave him Isaiah 52!!! He especially emphasized the message of the first 2 verses for God’s people in this hour ~ that we must AWAKE, Put on Strength, Shake ourselves from the dust (the place of “the dead”), and Arise to take our place in God’s plan! We knew this was confirmation, not only of the passage He’d given us that same day, but of this entire previous theme.

If Hitler, inspired by a demonic vision and empowered by the forces of darkness, was able to cause as much destruction and devastation for the kingdom of hell as he did, how much more should we be able to do for the Kingdom of Heaven if we would wholeheartedly seek God’s divine vision for our lives and passionately pursue its fulfillment through the empowerment of His Holy Spirit. May God’s people never again be indicted for being less consecrated to Him and committed to His call than the degree of dedication and determination demonstrated by those serving the enemy. Thankfully Jesus’ and Paul’s words reveal that we have the ability (and responsibility) to repent (turn/change) and once again be stirred up, fanned into flame, and set ablaze by His Spirit to pursue His will. Praying this for us all! May His all-consuming fire fall upon us, burning up all that’s not of Him, and leave within us the white-hot fire of His Spirit that will never diminish or die!
Blessings and Prayers,
Laura

That is why I would remind you to stir up (rekindle the embers of, fan the flame of, and keep burning) the [gracious] gift of God, [the inner fire] that is in you…. For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control. —2 Timothy 1:6–7

Those whom I [dearly and tenderly] love, I tell their faults and convict and convince and reprove and chasten [I discipline and instruct them]. So be enthusiastic and in earnest and burning with zeal and repent [changing your mind and attitude]. Revelation 3:19

Burn

And His disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up. John 2:17

Burn with Me, burn for Me, and burn through Me! Burn the world up with My message of love and forgiveness. Burn with holy zeal and My love will consume every part of you. Let the coals of fire from My altar fill the lantern of your heart. Burn, burn, burn! Live burning, talk burning, sleep with a burning heart, and walk with burning feet that scream out for the Truth. The fire from My altar will consume your family with salvation’s songs. Never take your eyes off of the fire; never let it go out. Never let the flame die down to a smoldering, unperceivable light. Never live far from its warmth. It’s the fire that the ghosts of your past fear. They tremble at raging love, blazing holiness, and unconditional goodness. They cannot bear all-consuming praise, honesty, or pounding convictions. Burn now, burn here, burn forever. (Copyright, Ivan Tait, Letters from God)

“GET MOVING!” – Powerful Confirmations of MANY Previous Words from This Season – (HFJ78)

We’re falling out over these continued confirmations of MANY of our themes from this season! I haven’t had a chance to put together the confirmations from Henry Fernandez’s message yet, so I wanted to go ahead and pass this word along in case it’s confirmation for any of you as well. I suspect it is. It’s an excerpt from Daniel Kolenda’s book (who works for evangelist Reinhard Bonnke) that I received in an email yesterday morning from his ministry. It ties together so many of the words God has surrounded us with in the past months! I’m NOT so thrilled with the fact that He’s STILL having to give us more confirmations of these messages – meaning we’ve still not fully comprehended and TAKEN ACTION on what He’s been urging us to do through these words (which we’re painfully aware of). Nonetheless, I’m very thankful that He’s longsuffering ~ continuing to surround us with as many confirmations as we need until we do GET IT. Pray for us, y’all!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Get Moving ~ by Daniel Kolenda
(
Secret #5 – Part 2: This Bible study has been taken from chapter 10 of LIVE BEFORE YOU DIE)
(Even the title of his book is confirmation of the words about running out of time, the brevity of life, etc. And I’m sure you recognize the title of the article is confirmation of our previous themes!)
In order to fly, an airplane needs “lift.” Lift comes from speed, and speed comes from “thrust.” Thrust is the power that pushes the aircraft forward, and without it nothing else matters. The aerodynamic design, the well-trained pilot in the cockpit, the sophisticated navigational technology, and the tank full of jet fuel are all useless unless the engines come alive and provide forward motion. (This is precise confirmation of a message God was RE-emphasizing to us again last week – that it doesn’t matter how much power a car has or how much gas is in the tank (how much potential the car has) – if you don’t put the key in the ignition and turn it, that potential will never be realized or unleashed and you’ll never get anywhere.) In your life the only one who can provide the forward motion is you. God will be your pilot. He will provide the wind beneath your wings and the fuel in your tank, but you have to give Him some momentum to work with. You cannot do God’s part, and God will not do your part. (This is confirmation of a whole series of words from this season that has provoked us to cry out for wisdom to understand “OUR PART.” God has responded to these cries repeatedly with words that have specifically stated, “Your part is….” Just like here ~ ) Your part is to get into gear, GET OFF YOUR BACKSIDE, AND GET MOVING. (Lord, have mercy! This is more precise confirmation of the whole series of words about “get moving,” “BE MOVED,” “movement,” “get up off your hind parts and bust a move,” “get up off your blessed assurance and do something,” “take action now,” etc – as shared inBust a Move/Make It Happen/Take a RiskandGod’s 9-1-1” – and the links provided within those notes. Of course, we haven’t been lounging since we took the leap of faith He called us to, so these kinds of words can be disconcerting when you’re doing all you know to do. Clearly, they indicate that there’s MORE ~ something else He’s calling us to do which we’ve not yet fully understood in order to get in alignment with His instructions.)
Reinhard Bonnke has said, “God will lift you out of the deepest pit, but He won’t lift you out of an easy chair—you have to do that yourself.” So what are you waiting for? How long will you do nothing while you grow old in the wilderness of inaction? (JESUS! This is precise confirmation of certain Scriptures the Lord has given us which in effect said – “The land before you is good – will you do nothing? Don’t be slow about going up to possess it” and “How long will you wait before you begin to take possession of the land?!” It’s also more confirmation of words about how He’s calling His people to get out of our “comfort zone” and do what is “uncomfortable” and “inconvenient” in order to fulfill His call. God began speaking about that in 2011, but really began to heavily stress it earlier this year – as shared in the “Taking Back Lost Territory” notes [esp. pts 1 &3] and “Glory Road” pt 2.)
It is true that God opens doors, and sometimes particular doors are not opened for a variety of reasons. But it is very unlikely that all the doors are shut. Imagine a man sitting at a red light in the downtown area of a big city. The light in front of him turns green, but when he looks ahead he sees that the next five lights are still red. Should he sit at the green light in front of him and just wait for all the other lights to turn green as well? Of course not! He should MOVE through the green light he has. Yet many people fail to move through the green light God has given them because they foresee obstacles ahead that they don’t know how to handle. (As we were praying about one decision in particular recently, we heard Paula White testify about how she got from where she started to where she is now. She shared that God kept opening one door for her and she’d walk through it. Then He’d open another and she’d walk through that, etc. – all the way to where she is now. I was reminded that when we first started praying about that decision, before we could see ANY open doors, He’d showed me a picture of a red doors green doorhallway full of red doors…except for ONE that was GREEN. Through this He encouraged us to knock and keep on knocking until we found the door that would open. We felt God was confirming through what Paula said, and other words He gave us as we sought, that we needed to go ahead and enter the “green” door that was obviously open. Of course we would never advise someone to apply this indiscriminately in every situation. We’ve also had times where we had evident open doors (green lights) from man, but RED LIGHTS from God. As we sought, He revealed they were counterfeits and not His will for us. So seeking God’s divine wisdom for our specific circumstances is of paramount importance.)
In Joshua 3 we read about the children of Israel encountering the obstacle of the Jordan River, which was overflowing and impossible to cross. In obedience to the Lord Joshua told the priests to take the ark of the covenant and go forward into the waters of the Jordan. This surely would have seemed like a ridiculous idea, but look at what happened.
And when those who carried the ark came into the Jordan, and the feet of the priests carrying the ark were dipped in the edge of the water… the waters which were flowing down from above stood and rose up in one heap… So the people crossed opposite Jericho.  Joshua 3:15-16, NAS
Now if Joshua had been trained in one of our fine Bible colleges, he probably would have given more mature advice. He would have said, “Gentlemen, we are going to wait right here until the Lord ‘opens a door’ for us.” But if that had been his command, their skeletons would still be decomposing somewhere on the banks of the Jordan River, because the water was not going to part for them until their feet got wet! My friend, sometimes you need to just go ahead and get your feet wet in faith and see what the Lord will do for you! (Though the part above speaks about knowing when to move forward through open doors/green lights that we can israelites-crossing-jordan-river-joshua-ashxclearly see, the Lord is continuing to confirm through this paragraph that it’s also vitally important that we understand when He’s calling us to go forward even when we can’t yet see the way. This is more confirmation of many words from this season, including the John Paul Jackson word –Don’t Miss the Forest for the Trees where the Lord continued to stress that sometimes we have to take the next step in faith before we can even “SEE” it [since we’d been crying out to “SEE” what that next step was]. It also goes with His series of words GO and I’ll Show You” ~ “OBEY So You Can SEE” – and the powerful  follow-up to that word. Additionally, through this paragraph He brought back to mind the specific confirmation we’d recently been asking Him for (a type of open door we were requesting) which involved “man” – as shared in pt 3 of The Pool Called Sent – and how He had responded to that request with a series of words stating that we don’t need the testimony/approval of man when He has called/appointed us. This response also confirmed that at times He will ask us to step out to do something even when there is no evident open door or green light from people. Whereas above I mentioned that there may be times when we receive open doors/green lights from man, but RED LIGHTS from God – this shows that there may also be times where we receive closed doors/red lights from man/circumstances, but GREEN LIGHTS from God. Remember, when the Lord we serve encounters a door locked tight by men, He can walk through the walls – John 20:19.) 🙂
In Matthew 14:22-29 we read the story of how Peter walked on the water. … People often criticize Peter for taking his eyes off Jesus and sinking, but I admire him for being the only one willing to get out of the boat. You will never walk on water if you’re not willing to step out of the boat! This secret is so simple and yet underemphasized in the Christian world. Some people seem to think that taking action demonstrates a lack of faith. On the contrary, faith without works is dead! Said another way, faith without action is dead! (This is more precise confirmation of words He’s been giving since the beginning of this season when He began calling us to make a leap of faith. None of us would desire to hear that according to the Lord’s assessment our faith is “dead,” so I pray we’ll all receive the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding of what actions He’s wanting us to take to complete our faith… and then be DOERS of what He shows us!). All of the planning, waiting, and wishing is wasted time if you are not going to TAKE ACTION. If you want to learn to swim, you are going to have to go ahead and take the plunge. (Clearly this is more precise confirmation of the “TAKE ACTION NOW” theme – and about the need to sometimes act/leap FIRST in obedience to God and then let Him instruct us further AS WE GO.)
We are usually all too aware of our inadequacies and deficiencies. The best way to address these issues is to begin to MOVE FORWARD. Momentum and motion will make everything in your life easier to steer. As you move forward, you’ll discover what really needs your attention, you’ll be incentivized to deal with it urgently, you’ll make the needed adjustments, and you’ll be able to empirically gauge your progress. You’ll discover that many of your previous concerns were nonsense and that you had never even considered many of the real issues you needed to confront. (Wow! This is more confirmation of the words He gave that He can’t steer a parked car or a ship in harbor, and the amazing confirmations He brought of that as we edited the Holy Spirit book – as shared in God’s 9-1-1“Keep Moving Forward” has also been a significant and recurring phrase He’s given since Spring 2012.)
Jack Canfield, the very successful businessman and author, wrote about this secret in his best-selling book The Success Principles: “Successful people have a bias for action. (This goes along with other words He’s given such as –”Success seems to be connected to action. Successful people keep moving. They make mistakes, but they don’t quit.” – Conrad Hilton). Most successful people I know have a low tolerance for excessive planning and talking about it. They are antsy to get going. They want to get started. They want the games to begin… Planning has its place, but it must be kept in perspective. Some people spend their whole lives waiting for the perfect time to do something. There’s rarely a ‘perfect’ time to do anything. What is important is to just GET STARTED. Get into the game. Get on the playing field. Once you do, you will start to get feedback that will help you make the corrections you need to make to be successful.” (Astounding! This has confirmations of many words He’s been giving – including,  “Everyone has to START somewhere” and “Give yourself permission to be a BEGINNER” – that have provoked prayers for God to help us understand where to START/ how to BEGIN [which ironically leads us back to the message of “Don’t Miss the Forest for the Trees.” Help us Jesus!] The part about not waiting for the perfect time is more precise confirmation of the series of words He began giving through The Purpose Driven Life and the Paula White message He led us to the very next day – as shared in “Stop Tuning Your Instrument and Start Making Music NOW”!!!!!!!)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Again, we’re continually astonished at His orchestration of confirmations! This entire last week was overwhelming in that regard. We pray each of us will not only receive accurate revelation (for any recognizing that these words/confirmations are truly for them in this season), but that each will also receive the accurate interpretation and application in our personal lives. I truly believe since He’s led us to share these words from our journey, that they’re not just for us. Continuing to pray for us all to grasp and comprehend what He’s asking each of us to do to “GET MOVING” and “TAKE ACTION NOW” toward fulfilling His call on our lives. We pray each of us will discern every green light and open door that He’s truly set before us – and will also comprehend when He’s asking us to step out even when there seems to be NO visible open door or green light (except the sound of His voice calling us to go forward into the waters of the Jordan – or to walk straight through the walls).  May we all have singleness of heart and mind to be able to recognize and receive every bit of wisdom He’s generously pouring out for us as we ask and to not miss or dismiss even one instruction He gives. I pray He will lead us in His Love and guide us in His Strength – even in spite of us – to get us where we need to be!
Blessings and Prayers,
Laura

Special follow-up (to last Healing Faith Journey Post) – HFJ77

Wanted to send out a link to a sermon that will only be online till either tomorrow morning or possibly evening in case anyone else may be blessed by it as we were.

The sermon is from Henry Fernandez. We had never heard of him, so we had no idea what to expect. But we began receiving confirmations of things I wrote at the end of the previous HFJ post from the beginning of his message, letting us know this was a God-orchestrated moment. We continued receiving many more confirmations of themes from our past posts related to the God-adventure we’re on. So we knew it was a rhema word for us and wanted to share in case it may be for others of you too.

If you have a chance to listen today (or tomorrow if it’s still up) – Go to http://tdjakes.org/echurch/ and click on the “Watch Rebroadcast” link below the screen. If you want to go straight to the sermon, you can scroll in about a 1/4 of the way (until you see the video introducing the speaker) and the sermon will end at about 3/4 of the way through (the last part is offering, etc.).

I will most likely take some notes of the many confirmations we received to share with you in the next post, but undoubtedly will not write the entire sermon or be able to deliver what I do share as dynamically as you will be able to hear it through him.
Blessings and Prayers!

Follow-up on Confession #14 – POWER IN THE NAME OF JESUS – HFJ76

Still working out the kinks with the blog site. I apologize to anyone who has left a comment on a post or tried to use the “like/share” features for FB or Twitter. Apparently these things weren’t working as they should. Jesse’s been fixing those issues. Hopefully comments will no longer be blocked by the spam filter and the new app he’s added for liking and sharing will work (it’s visible at the top right of each page and the bottom of each message).

In the last post we introduced our current confession (#14):

The NAME of the Lord is Mighty in Power! It is a Strong Tower that I run to and am saved (healed, delivered, protected, preserved)! God protects me by the Power of Jesus’ NAME! (Jeremiah 10:6, Proverbs 18:10, John 17:11)

name of Lord towerAs mentioned previously, the Lord began bringing messages/confirmations about the POWER in His NAME while I was still trying to get my act together to write/post all the confirmations for confession #13. When He does that, it let’s me know He’s urging me FORWARD. In fact, immediately after I posted the message where I told you He was already surrounding me with confirmations of our next confession (to prod me along), I got on my FB newsfeed (which I’m rarely on) and there was a BIG picture post from IHOP (International House of Prayer) with the title – “The Name of the LORD is a strong tower; The righteous runs into it and is safe” (Pr. 18:10). There were so many of these confirmations right in a row for a few weeks and I wish I’d written more of them down. During that time, while I was already saying, “Yes God! I hear you!” we went to rehearsal (for the worship team) one night before Wednesday night service. When we arrived, we learned that Pastor Marcus had changed the song list to include a new song he’d just heard. The song was “There is Power in the Name of Jesus” by Lincoln Brewster. I had to laugh (and marvel) – “Yes Lord! Yes! I get that you’re absolutely emphasizing this everywhere we turn! Help us walk in the FULLNESS of the revelation of the POWER that’s in Your NAME!”

The chorus and bridge of the song say:

There is power in the Name of Jesus; There is power, power in His Name (repeat)

One Name, one Name can save; One Name, breaks every chain
One Name, always; one Name, Jesus
One Name, one Name remains; One Name, we will proclaim
One Name, always; one Name  (To listen to this song click here )

As if I wasn’t already amazed by the Lord’s continued confirmations (and our worship pastor’s sensitivity to the Spirit to choose songs with words/themes that the Lord is currently emphasizing), we actually ended up singing this song as a power-in-the-namemedley with another song called “No Other Name” by PlanetShakers:

The Name of Jesus is GREATER; The Name of Jesus is STRONGER; The Name of Jesus is HIGH ABOVE EVERYTHING (or all things)
The Name of Jesus is BIGGER; The Name of Jesus HAS POWER; The Name of Jesus is HIGH ABOVE EVERYTHING

Thereʼs just something about the Name of Jesus (repeat)

Jesus Name above all names
Healer the one who takes all pain
Savior risen from the grave
Your Name is Jesus, Lord over all

The Name of Jesus BRINGS HEALING
; The Name of Jesus BRINGS FREEDOM; The Name of Jesus is HIGH ABOVE EVERYTHING
The Name of Jesus IS VICTORY; The Name of Jesus HAS SAVED ME; The Name of Jesus is HIGH ABOVE EVERYTHING
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, No other name, no other name like (repeat x 3)
JESUS (To listen to this song click here )

During this time we also saw an awesome testimony of deliverance from armed robbery through the POWER of Jesus’ Name! The Testimony was even entitled, “The Power in the Name of Jesus.” (watch video here: http://www.cbn.com/tv/3718999226001 )

When we saw this, the Lord reminded me of a similar testimony that had aired in the past. Though the reenactment undoubtedly does not do justice to what actually happened, it’s still amazing to hear about the boldness that came upon these women (as well as the woman featured in the testimony above) and to see the results of power and authority of Jesus’ Name in these situations. (watch video here: http://www.cbn.com/tv/2318596472001 )

name mighty in powerI loved that the Lord brought these testimonies up this time, since confession #14 specifically focuses on the power in Jesus’ Name to PROTECT US!

I just remembered a few of the other confirmations, but since this is already long enough perhaps I’ll share those later. As we continue to meditate on the Power inherent in Jesus’ Name in the upcoming confessions, I pray we will fully grasp, comprehend, and walk in the experiential knowledge of the Power of His Name in every situation and circumstance in our lives – seeing the lost radically saved, the sick totally healed, demons permanently flee, captives completely set free, mountains of obstacles and opposition dramatically removed, the gates of hell utterly overthrown, and God’s Kingdom invading earth with MIRACLE-WORKING POWER everywhere we go. I leave you today with one of the confessions from one of my other confessions lists that I recently read:

We are not like those who shrink back in shame or doubt. We are BOLD WARRIORS who already know the battle is won! We go into battle with God’s battle cry knowing that God is MUCH STRONGER, much more skilled, and has a greater history of VICTORY over ALL His enemies. Because we fear His NAME, He will show Himself strong on our behalf. We prepare ourselves and stand at the door of expectation, awaiting the great things God is going to do for us. He stretches down His hand from heaven and rescues us! He sets our feet upon a rock and establishes our steps before us because we fear His NAME and tremble at His Word. (adapted from Psalm 18, 40, 144, Isaiah 66:2, and others – and Ivan Tait’s Letters from God)

(God’s delivering power to RESCUE US has been a recurring theme in the past several months. Another recurring theme in the past several weeks has been about His ability to work ALL THINGS together for GOOD for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. So for those whose circumstances are telling you that there’s no way out of the predicament you’re in, that you cannot recover this time, that it’s the end of the road for you and your destiny – remind your circumstances (and the devil – and yourself) of these promises from God. Eat them, breathe them, proclaim (pro-claim them), and hook up a continual IV supply of them to your heart and mind until your faith is strengthened to the point of being sure and certain of the fulfillment of His Word!

And don’t forget to RUN to the NAME of JESUS!!!

Blessings and Prayers!

Wrapping up Confession #13 (and the Pool called SENT) and Moving to Confession #14 – HFJ75

As mentioned in part 1 of Confirmations of Confession #13 (The Pool Called SENT), there were also many powerful confirmations of the other two facets of confession #13. It was evident that He was emphasizing each part individually, but my primary focus has been on the 3rd facet because there was simply an unmistakeable, undeniable, inescapable deluge about the revelation of being Chosen, Appointed, and SENT by Him.

Confirmations of the truth that we can do NOTHING without Christ, but ALL THINGS with/through Him also came from many directions. Among these were some confessions in a document I “just happened” to feel led to pull up and meditate on (though I had not looked at it for a long time and did not remember what confessions were on it). Some of these were: incapable without God, invincible with Him

We recognize our inadequacy and incapability without God and our invincibility with Him. We can do ALL things through JESUS CHRIST who gives us Strength. We walk in the fullness of the revelation and manifestation of our LIMITLESS, INCALCULABLE INHERITANCE that is IN US through CHRIST IN US. We do not live bound by the basic principles of this world. We walk in the supernatural every day – demonstrating the reality that EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE for the one who BELIEVES. John 14-15, 17, Philippians 4:13, Ephesians 1, Galatians 4:1-7, Matthew 17:14-20, Mark 9:23; 11:12-25

We walk in the fullness of the revelation and implications of Christ IN US. This is our confident, cheerful, eager expectation of manifesting God’s GLORY in every area of our lives. Because Jesus lives IN US, we do the miraculous things that He did and even greater things, as He promised. We manifest His glory and display His splendor so that the world knows that He is ALIVE and is living IN US. John 14-15, 17, Colossians 1:27

Also, right after we began meditating on confession #13, our worship pastor taught us a new song for choir called, “I KNOW WHO I AM”!!! lol! As has happened so often, the words went perfectly with the themes God has been emphasizing at the precise time (continuing the theme of needing to know who we are/who we were created to be/what we were created to do, so that we finally believe it enough to do it). I’ve attached a copy of our worship team/choir singing this song (led by Ebenezer Quaye). It’s not a professional recording, but good enough for the purpose of sharing here. This song makes me so happy! 🙂 Get ready to get your praise on (or at least an African version of your praise)!

Verse:
We are a CHOSEN generation, CALLED forth to show His excellence. All I require for life God has given me and I KNOW WHO I AM.

Chorus:
I know who God says I am, what He says I have, I KNOW THAT I CAN {meaning – I KNOW THAT I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST}, cause I know who I am.

Bridge:
I’m walking in POWER, walking in MIRACLES; I live a life of favor, cause I know who I am.

There were also IMMEDIATELY many confirmations about the power of prayer, and of receiving whatever we ask from God when we ask in faith, based on His Word. Many of these confirmations came from I John 5:14-15

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.  And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.

As we wrap up these themes from confession #13, I thought it was appropriate that as I was sitting down at the computer to write this message (Saturday), I opened a piece of mail and saw this Scripture at the top of the letter,

You did not choose Me, but I CHOSE YOU and APPOINTED YOU that YOU SHOULD GO and BEAR FRUIT, and that your fruit should remain, that WHATEVER YOU ASK THE FATHER IN MY NAME HE MAY GIVE YOU. John 15:16

The opening of the letter said, “Isn’t it amazing to know we have been chosen by God Himself? He has made us His children and has appointed important work for us to do. We have been charged to go and bear fruit for His kingdom, fruit that will last for eternity.” (~CBN, emphasis mine) Wow! Wow! Wow! God is amazing! Hopefully you recognize the verse is one of the passages confession #13 is based on ~ the one I realized God was emphasizing the most through all the confirmations of being CHOSEN and APPOINTED by Him. (It also addresses the other facets of confession #13 of bearing fruit and [or by] receiving what we ask for in prayer.) But it honestly did not hit me until just this moment when I added it here and reread the verse carefully to put bold/all caps for emphasis that this verse not only includes the verbiage of being CHOSEN and APPOINTED (to bear Him fruit), but also includes the verbiage of being SENT (in order to do so) – “I CHOSE YOU AND APPOINTED YOU that YOU SHOULD GO!” I’d been thinking this whole time that while the concepts of being CHOSEN and APPOINTED were clearly seen in confession #13, that God just decided to add this additional revelation of being SENT to compliment it ~ beginning with the passage He gave us from John 9 about the pool called SENT). But now I see that although the specific word “GO” (the revelation of being SENT) was left out of my verbiage in confession #13 – God wanted to make sure it would not be left out of the heart revelation we all received as we meditated on this confession! (Yes, I have to apologize to the Lord for being so slow to GET IT often!) Looks like I need to change confession #13 to make sure I include this additional revelation from John 15:16. Here’s the new version:

“I know that apart from Jesus I CAN DO NOTHING. But I am not apart from Jesus. I purpose to REMAIN IN HIM and to let HIS WORDS REMAIN IN ME. Therefore, I receive whatever I ask of Him because I ask in His Name in confident faith based on His Word in Me. I bear MUCH FRUIT, glorifying God, and showing that I belong to and follow Him and that He lives in me! He has CHOSEN, APPOINTED, and SENT me to GO and bear fruit that will last! THROUGH HIM I CAN DO ALL THINGS! (John 15:5-8, 16; 16:23-27; I John 5:14-15, Philippians 4:13)”

In response to now seeing that Jesus wants us to also grasp the revelation from this verse that we’re chosen and appointed to GO (that we’ve been SENT), I’m including the verse again that was cited in part 4 of The Pool Called SENT :

THEREFORE GO and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20

Oh my!!! I also just noticed that both “GO” and “SENT” (Siloam) are in the verse He gave from John 9 that began this entire series (part 1)!!! Officially overwhelmed!!!

…He (Jesus) spit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man’s eyes. “Go,” He told him, “wash in the Pool of Siloam” (this word means “Sent”). So the man went and washed, and came home seeing. John 9:6-7

I’m so in awe of how He’s put this whole series of words together and praying that each one of us will not only HEAR it but truly and fully APPLY it in our lives in every way He desires! May we all wash our eyes in the Pool called SENT so that we can SEE CLEARLY what He’s calling each of us to do and GO do it for His glory! God even orchestrated this so that the last part of the John 15 passage above (“…whatever you ask the Father IN MY NAME…”) actually leads right into our next confession. So here’s the long awaited confession #14:

The NAME of the Lord is Mighty in Power! It is a Strong Tower that I run to and am saved (healed, delivered, protected, preserved)! God protects me by the Power of Jesus’ NAME! (Jeremiah 10:6, Proverbs 18:10, John 17:11)

Since this is already long, I’ll have to wait to share some of the confirmations He’s already been giving for this confession/theme.

Blessings and Prayers!

Confirmations of confession #13 ~ part 4 ~ the Pool called SENT – HFJ74

part 4 (part 3 here; navigation forward and backward also at bottom of screen)

That weekend, our pastor also briefly mentioned that we are God’s ambassadors SENT to represent Him! We knew the Lord was continuing to confirm. Then Tuesday night (8/12), we read the next chapter of A Purpose Driven Life -“YOU WERE MADE FOR A MISSION.” As soon as Jesse began reading we were overwhelmed with confirmations and they continued the entire time. (This was the book God spoke to both of us separately to read last year during the same couple of days of seeking – as mentioned in Counterfeit Clarity pt 1and it has truly proven to be a God-orchestrated endeavor that He has used to pour out precise confirmations for us, chapter after chapter. I recommend reading the whole book at some point, but if you don’t have a copy and want to read this entire chapter, you can probably find it online.) Rick Warren wrote,

“Our English word mission comes from the Latin word for “SENDING.” Being a Christian includes being SENT into the world as a representative of Jesus Christ. Jesus said, AS THE FATHER HAS SENT ME, I AM SENDING GO - great commissionYOU.” … He saves us and then SENDS us out. The Bible says, ‘We have been SENT to speak for Christ.”… Fulfilling your life mission on earth is an essential part of living for God’s glory. … Jesus calls us not only to come to him, but to GO for him. … In the Great Commission Jesus said, Go to the people of all nations and make them my disciples. Baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teach them to do everything I have told you.This commission was given to every follower of Jesus, not to pastors and missionaries alone. This is your commission from Jesus, and it is NOT OPTIONAL. These words of Jesus are not the Great Suggestion. If you are a part of God’s family, your mission is MANDATORY. To ignore it would be disobedience. (So much confirmation here)

“You may have been unaware that God holds you responsible for the unbelievers who live around you. The Bible says, “You must warn them so they may live. If you don’t speak out to warn the wicked to stop their evil ways, they will die in their sin. But I will hold you responsible for their death. You are the only Christian some people will ever know, and your mission is to share Jesus with them. (more confirmation of this consistent theme of blood being on our hands if we fail to speak to others what God is asking us to – in fact, I was amazed AGAIN, as I reread this chapter in preparation to write this note, to hear our pastor say these same statements nearly verbatim this past Sunday.) …Telling others how they can have eternal life is the greatest thing you can do for them. If your neighbor had cancer or AIDS and you knew the cure, it would be criminal to withhold that lifesaving information. Even worse is to keep secret the way to forgiveness, purpose, peace, and eternal life. …

Great commission not great suggestionYour mission has eternal significance. … The consequences of your mission will last forever; the consequences of your job {or other achievements/goals/pursuits in life} will not. Nothing else you do will ever matter as much as helping people establish an eternal relationship with God. This is why we must be URGENT about our mission. Jesus said, All of us must quickly carry out the tasks assigned us by the one who sent me, because there is little time left before the night falls and all work comes to an end. THE CLOCK IS TICKING DOWN on your life mission, so DON’T DELAY ANOTHER DAY. Get started on your mission of reaching out to others NOW! … (more confirmation of this verse He was giving us previously -see Formed in the Secret Place pt 1 – the themes of urgency 9-1-1 – TAKE ACTION NOW – TIME IS RUNNING OUT– Jesse’s dream of Jesus moving the clock forward, saying He was accelerating the time of His return, and even a word He gave that said TIME IS TICKING. We read this chapter right at the end of receiving that entire series of words from the Lord – so we were OVERWHELMED by this additional confirmation!)

“…As a student, mother, preschool teacher, salesman, or manager or whatever you do, you should continually look for people God places in your path with whom you can share the gospel. Your mission gives your life meaning. …The truth is, only the kingdom of God is going to last. Everything else will eventually vanish. That is why we must live purpose driven lives-lives committed to worship, fellowship, spiritual growth, ministry, and fulfilling our mission on earth. The results of these activities will last-forever! (Only what’s done for Christ will last) If you fail to fulfill your God-given mission on earth, you will have wasted the life God gave you. There are people on this planet whom only you will be able to reach, because of where you live and what God has made you to be. If just one person will be in heaven because of you, your life will have made a difference for eternity. Start looking around at your personal mission field and pray, “God, who have you put in my life for me to tell about Jesus?”

“To fulfill your mission will require that you abandon your agenda and accept God’s agenda for your life. You can’t just “tack it on” to all the other things you’d like to do with your life. You must say, like Jesus, “Father, … I want your will, not mine.” You yield your rights, expectations, dreams, plans, and ambitions to him. … You hand God a blank sheet with your name signed at the bottom and tell him to fill in the details. The Bible says, “GIVE YOURSELVES COMPLETELY TO GOD-EVERY PART OF YOU (confirmations of themes of total surrender and total sacrifice – laying all on altar – giving all to the Lord – as He was stressing through Counterfeit Clarity pt 1 and pts 1-3 of No Sacrifice; No Victory and other previous notes) “If you will commit to fulfilling your mission in life no matter what it costs, you will experience the blessing of God in ways that few people ever experience. There is almost nothing God won’t do for the man or woman who is committed to serving the kingdom of God. Jesus has promised, [God] will give you all you need from day to day if you live for him and make the Kingdom of God your primary concern.” (Copyright, Rick Warren, The Purpose Driven Life)

Needless to say, God once again blew us away by bringing all these major words/confirmations about the revelation of being SENT within a week of us asking if He was telling us (through John 9) that we must wash our eyes in the Pool called SENT so that we can see to follow Him forward into His call. After writing part 3, He continued to stress these things, reminding me through I Peter 2 that Jesus too was rejected by man, but CHOSEN by God and precious to Him. God is still in the business of taking those that people reject and selecting them to be a significant part of His plan.

But you are a CHOSEN people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. I Peter 2:9

It appears I will have to send one more message to wrap up confession #13 and share confession #14 (hopefully tomorrow) since when I included it all here it was a bit long. Praying we will all walk in the full revelation of being CHOSEN, APPOINTED, and SENT ~ that we will know our specific callings, anointings, and appointments (in addition to the one we all share of the Great Commission) and that they will be activated in us, fanned into flame, and coming forth in full measure so that we reach our full potential ~ accomplishing all God desires and achieving the purpose for which He SENT us. We pray that none try to convince God to conform to their agenda, but that we will lay all on the altar and give Him the complete surrender, sacrifice, service, and SUBMISSION TO THE MISSION that’s necessary to fulfill His purpose! We pray that each of us will understand the urgency of the hour and be busy about our Father’s business, so that we can quickly carry out the tasks assigned to us and bring in the entire harvest before it’s too late. We pray that we will all know when we leave this earth that we have fought the good fight, kept the faith, and finished the work He has given us, and will hear Him say, “Well Done!” As we’ll be singing tomorrow morning during worship, let’s have a STRONG FINISH with STRONG FAITH! redneck_greatcommission

Confirmations of confession #13 ~ part 3 ~ the Pool called SENT – HFJ73

Sorry for the delay between posts again. We were so blessed to be able to attend the Joyce Meyer conference here last Thursday-Saturday with some of our dear friends from church. The Lord even blessed Jesse and me with front row seats Joyce 5at the last moment for the final service on Saturday morning – which was a very special and much needed kiss from Him. We might have to buy the DVDs instead of CDs for this conference, since people we know will likely be shown in the crowd. 🙂 (click photo to see larger size; you can see our album here)

A few days after hearing the astounding confirmations of the revelation of being SENT in the Paula message, shared in part 2, we were catching up on a past Joyce program. In this message, Joyce was interviewing Pastor Craig Groeschel (whom we had never heard of). Immediately we began hearing confirmations:

“If you don’t know who you are, then you don’t know what to do. When you know who you are, then you know what to do. … You have to know who you are in order to fulfill your calling. The identity comes first and then the overflow of the expression of the gifts.” (Later Joyce’s announcer said,) “Knowing who you are in Christ is an absolute necessity in order to become a world changer.” (This was more confirmation of the themes from Neo and Alice – of having to come to believe who God called/created us to be and what He called/created us to do, so that we will finally do it – as discussed in Formed in the Secret place – pt 5).

“God sees things in people that they don’t see in themselves.” (This was precise confirmation of a theme that began on May 26 this year when the Lord led us to watch the Green Lantern and blew us away with all the confirmations in it of things He’d been speaking to us. I was hoping to share notes from it at some point, but for now will just share the scene between Hal and Carol where we heard the voice of the Lord through Carol.

Carol Ferris: …You’re just gonna have to stop it (referring to the enemy and his plans).
Hal Jordan: Oh, just gonna have to stop it! Well, I tried that and I failed…. I told you the ring (which had CHOSEN him for this assignment) made a mistake. (representing feeling as though God made a mistake in choosing us to fulfill our callings/assignments)
Carol: Wait, go back. How did the ring make a mistake?
Hal: The one thing that a Green Lantern is supposed to be is FEARLESS. FEARLESS, is the JOB DESCRIPTION. That isn’t me. (WOW! Confirmation of the FEARLESS theme surrounding the SALT notes and before. The Lord had even given us this word as part of the “JOB DESCRIPTION” of BEING SALT!! See part 2 of Becoming SALT and PILLARS ! JESUS!!!)
Carol: So you’re just gonna walk away again? … Please explain to me, just once, why?
Hal: Because I’m afraid!
Carol: You don’t think your dad ever felt afraid?
Hal: If he did, he’d figure out some way to beat it.
Carol: Yeh, well there’s a word for that – COURAGE.
Hal: They said that the ring wouldn’t have CHOSEN me if it didn’t see something. Something I don’t see.
Carol: I SEE IT. I ALWAYS HAVE. The ring didn’t see that you were fearless. It saw that you had the ability to OVERCOME FEAR. It saw that you’re COURAGEOUS. Which you are. Just like your dad (Courageous like our Dad, Abba Father, God).

After we heard the voice of the Lord through this scene, He then began to confirm it repeatedly in the coming days/weeks, surrounding us with this same message from multiple different sources – including our pastor who said a few weeks afterward that God sees things in us that we don’t see in ourselves. We knew he was trackin’ in the Spirit once again with what we were hearing from God.)

Craig talked about how God knew exactly what He was doing when He made each of us…. And He put us at the exact right time in history for us to fulfill our purpose in bringing Him the most glory. (This was more confirmation of Rick Renner’s devo I posted on FB that God also gave us multiple times during this season – You Are No Accident Because God CHOSE You). Then we were in awe when Craig began to talk about the importance of the revelation of being SENT!!

chosen“People need to understand who they are; and if we’re a follower of Jesus, He says we’re an ambassador. An ambassador is the highest ranking official SENT from one nation to represent that nation to another. As a follower of Jesus, this world is not my home. As an ambassador, I’m the highest ranking representative SENT from Heaven…. I wasn’t CHOSEN by people; I was ELECTED and APPOINTED by God.” (Clearly this was more confirmation of the SENT theme – but this last part was also powerful confirmation of what God was stressing to us at this time. He touched on this through Paula’s message in part 2, but then emphasized this to us in even greater measure later. We had started asking Him to confirm what He wanted us to do in a very specific way (involving man). He had responded to this request by taking us to the passages where the apostle Paul said repeatedly that he was not an apostle by the appointment of man, but by God Himself, and that he did not need to confer with flesh and blood [or consult with people] about his call. The Lord immediately confirmed these words for us through bishop Joshua and Ms. Barb at church. He also gave us the passage again where Jesus said that He did not need the testimony of man – a passage He’d first given us in 2011 when He gave us one of our primary callings. So we knew this specific theme was also something important He desperately needed to lovingly pound through our heads.) 😉

“Everyone who’s been born into the family of God [needs] to realize they’re an ambassador. …They’re not a regular person…. People may say – ‘I just  (fill in the blank with your job).’ NO! You’re the highest ranking representative of God agent of GodSENT ON A MISSION into that place. … You’re the representative of God. When you start to see yourself as that, it builds a God-confidence – a Christ-centeredness – that I’m on a MISSION. I’m not just here to do a job (that I may or may not like). I’m here representing the King of kings and Lord of lords in this place. And that overflows into a spirit of excellence … [a desire] to serve Him faithfully… to love people with integrity. It changes your whole countenance and ultimately it will change your destiny. When you know who you are, you’ll know what to do.”

“God is serious about you. Are you serious about Him? God cares about you; He gave you gifts; He gave you talents; You have a calling, a purpose. Yet, if you’re not serious about Him, you’re going to miss the reason you were created to bring Him glory in all you do.” (GOD FORBID! LORD help each one of us to discover and fulfill the purpose for which you created us, called us, chose us, and SENT US to this earth!)

There’s still enough material that God poured out from this theme for several more notes. But at the same time it’s unmistakably clear that He’s heavily emphasizing and camping out on the message from the next confession right now – so I know I’m lagging behind on getting that to you. I hope to send you at least one more note that goes along with this message tomorrow and get the new confession to you too, whether or not I’ve finished the confirmations from the last one. Please remember to be praying for our nation to wholeheartedly repent and return to the Lord as we remember 9/11 today (and every day)!

Blessings and Prayers!

Confirmations of confession #13 ~ part 2 ~ the Pool called SENT – HFJ72

(Part 2 – continued from part 1)

Here are some of the notes from Paula’s message that the Lord led us to in response to our question about His instruction to wash our eyes in the Pool called “SENT” so we can SEE to follow Him forward into His call:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“In every place and among all people there is always a chosen company that has been marked to bring forth the purpose of God.
And greatness, when I begin to reference greatness, (means):
– to display the SUPERnatural
– to show the world that God is a real God
– that God is a Healer, a Deliverer, a Provider, a Restorer
– that God can do ALL THINGS – there’s NOTHING TOO DIFFICULT for the God we serve
– that He is the Creator
– the same yesterday, today, and forevermore.
…It’s not just external greatness, but an internal greatness. It’s the GREATNESS of Christ IN YOU – the expectation of GLORY (Col 1:27) – the hope of God IN YOU. We have this treasure/deposit/wealth on the inside of us in this earthen vessel (II Cor 4:7) (taking us back to the themes from the Incalculable Wealth notes). So there’s greatness lodged on the inside of us. … Greatness doesn’t just happen…. It’s important that your greatness is activated – that you become ALL God created you to be.
… And until you grasp the truth that you’re destined and designed for GREATNESS – that you’re designed to walk in the SUPERnatural –  that you’re designed to bring forth the glory of God – that you’re commanded and commissioned to leave legacy and build succession and to build something and leave something bigger than your own lifetime – until you really grasp the truth of that – that you’re called to carry forth the power of God – that power’s not just in the pulpit; power’s in the pew – that God has called you to do EXTRAORDINARY things – SUPERnatural things – then you can never fully apprehend your royal SENTpotential – that you reign as a king in the earth – that God has called you as a royal priesthood – that you have a job to do for Jesus (taking us back to the themes from the Get Your SUPER on notesthe Salt and Pillar notes, Formed in the Secret Place notes, and Choosing the Glory Road… notes).
Look, your birth was not an accident, it wasn’t a coincidence, … because you’re a SENT person. Your purpose is unique. You HAD to be here. When you begin to understand and recognize that you are SENT you act different. SENT people think different. SENT people talk different. SENT people walk different. SENT people show up different. I wasn’t invited to this earth, I was SENT to this earth. I came from Christ; I return to Christ. …I clocked into purpose on (the day I was born); I was SENT here. … When you get a clue of WHO YOU REALLY ARE – that you’re a SENT person… (taking us back to the message of how essential it is to receive the revelation of who we are – like Neo in The Matrix – see Formed in the Secret Place part 5) –  SENT people don’t ask for permission; SENT people don’t try to fit in; SENT people understand that they’re here on purpose; SENT people prophesy; SENT people shift things; SENT people walk in places that others don’t dare to go. When you understand that you’re a SENT person, you know that man didn’t put you in, so man can’t take you out, so nobody can disqualify your destiny. You’re the only person that can mess this up. … When you’re a SENT person you understand that man can’t make you and man can’t take you out…. That’s liberating and gives you freedom because you recognize that you’re a person on purpose.
It’s important that you understand purpose. Your Kingdom usefulness is determined by your commitment to purpose. So when you understand that you have a supreme reason for your existence, that there’s a divine prescription that you’ve been SENT for and you understand your position, then you’re UNSTOPPABLE (more of our immovable, unshakable, unbreakable, unstoppable themes since 2011-12). I don’t care what they say about you, what they lie about you, how they walk out, how they break your heart, how they betray you, what they do to you, how many rocks they pile on you and try to stone you. You’re like Paul; the disciples backed up off him, but he lifted himself up. There’s something on the inside of you that causes you to lift yourself up. You’re like David; he encouraged himself. (These were confirmations of messages He’d given us about David at Ziklag). He reached deep within and he pulled up hope from the inside – because you recognize, “I’m SENT;  I’m here on purpose. God has a beginning and He has an ending for me. His name is Alpha and His Name is Omega. And just because you’re in the middle of the mess doesn’t mean it’s the end of the story. That was just a chapter. Wait till you see what the Lord’s getting ready to do and He’s gonna to do it in front of everybody!
You know you’re SENT when you make it through some things that you should have never survived! You know you’re SENT when God keeps KEEPING you and PRESERVING you and His hand is upon you. You know you’re SENT when you should have lost your mind, had a total nervous breakdown, be full of bitterness, so broken you could never get it back together. But the devil is a liar. You have been SENT. When you have been SENT, God watches over what He sends. … you’re a SENT person to demonstrate to this world the glory of God. (When) you’ve been SENT, there’s an assignment. … When you’re SENT, you’re a remnant. You survive things. …remnant means that which is left over, that which has survived. And whenever God goes to do something great, He always uses a remnant. … There had to be a pruning process, a purging process, a cutting back process, because God said – “What I’m releasing as inheritance (now), not everybody could handle. So I had to cut away some things. I had to cut back some things. But… get ready because… you’re about to see the hand of God.
SENT people are remnant people – God has a way of protecting that which He SENT. Gen 45:7 – Joseph said – “but God SENT me ahead of you to preserve a remnant on the earth – to save your life with a great deliverance. (This was more precise confirmation of the word from Psalm 105 God has given us so many times since 2011 – telling us that part of this process has been to allow His IRON to enter our souls!!) … SENT people understand there is something behind me that I’m responsible for PRESERVING. … When I’m a SENT person it’s not just about getting [material things]. When I’m SENT, I recognize that I’m PRESERVED … that God will allow me to go through some things to go ahead [of others] because I’m to PRESERVE a posterity. (WOW! More confirmation of Continued Revelation from 3 films… notes, and the Becoming SALT and PILLARS notesHe has called the remnant to PRESERVE THE TRUTH OF HIS WORD!) I’ve been raised up for the kingdom and my usefulness for the kingdom is my commitment to the purpose. … You’re entering a whole new season; everything is shifting, because when you get the revelation that you’re a person on purpose and on assignment – in position – there are NO LIMITATIONS to you (more confirmation of many LIMITLESS/NO LIMITS words from this year including the Incalculable Wealth Notes, the Becoming SALT and PILLARS notes and others – “posts with LIMITLESS”). I’m SENT. I’m not asking permission. I’m not asking if you’re happy about it. I’ve been SENT. God’s getting ready to release you into a whole new place.” ~ Paula White
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We recognized that this revelation of being SENT was God’s continued response to our prayers to help us become FULLY PERSUADED of who He’s created us to be and what He’s created us to do, so that we will believe it enough to finally do it (like Neo in the Matrix) – which He was emphasizing earlier this year, as shared in the “Formed in the Secret Place” part 5. I hope this message blesses you as much as it did us! But God still wasn’t done!

SENT on a mission by Jesus

Confirmations of confession #13 ~ part 1 ~ the Pool called SENT – HFJ71

Gracious! I’m so sorry it’s been over a week again since I said I’d get the next message out. It’s so easy to get completely engrossed in the editing process on the blog site – especially when the Lord has been speaking to us again through what we’re rereading. The good news is that you get to read the new message on the blog! I hope you like the format! You can also access all our previous messages here by clicking on the “Healing/Faith Journey Category on the right side of the screen. All of our messages have HFJ(#) at the end to help you follow in order. As you can see in the title of this message, we are on message #71.

And those of you who were unable to easily access the other notes (via FB) that I’ve sent links for, you can now also find those notes on the blog too. You can use the search bar to type in names of specific articles or click on the Prophecy/Teaching category on the right side to find most of them. I’m still transferring/editing the last few in the series, but they should be done this week.

I hope all the extra time on the last confession has helped it become solidified more than it would have been otherwise.

He has chosen and appointed me to bear fruit that will last! THROUGH HIM I CAN DO ALL THINGS! (John 15:5-8, 16; 16:23-27; I John 5:14-15, Philippians 4:13)”

I will not be able to share all the confirmations we’ve received during this time, but I was so blessed by how the Lord brought confirmations for all of the major themes contained in this confession. He immediately began bringing multiple confirmations of the truths that:

~ we can do NOTHING without Him, but ALL THINGS through/with Him

~ our prayers are extremely powerful and He truly does want to give us whatever we ask when we’re abiding in Him/His Word and He/His Word are abiding in us (and our prayers are based on His Word)

But the theme that He most emphasized, which really surprised me since I had not anticipated this at all, was the theme that:

~ He has CHOSEN AND APPOINTED US

Right after we began meditating on this confession, He gave us John 9 about the healing of the man who was blind from birth. (read whole account from John 9 here). “The blind” receiving sight has been a recurring theme for us in this season as we’ve been crying out to the Lord to be able to SEE THE WAY we’re supposed to go in order to follow Him into the new territory where He’s leading us after taking the leap of faith He called us to take (as mentioned in previous messages). So, He already had my full attention when I began reading this account. But when I got to verse 7, it seemed especially illuminated to me by the Holy Spirit.

…He (Jesus) spit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man’s eyes. “Go,” He Blind Man Washes in Pool of Siloamtold him, “wash in the Pool of Siloam” (this word means “Sent”). So the man went and washed, and came home seeing.

I began asking, “Lord, are you saying our ability to SEE what we’re supposed to do next is connected to washing our eyes in ‘the Pool called SENT’ ~ that it somehow involves receiving the revelation of being SENT by You?”

The very next morning, we tried to listen to a sermon by someone we felt the Lord was leading us to listen to more often. But when we tried to listen to his sermon, instead it turned out to be a sermon by a guest speaker. The speaker was Paula White. We began hearing confirmations in her message immediately, letting us know this was a divinely orchestrated encounter from God. But we were floored when she began emphasizing the importance of having a revelation of BEING SENT!!!!!  (portions of that message share in part 2) ONLY JESUS! Continually amazed!!
