SHIELD and SHEPHERD Confirmations

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yesterday, after posting the Shield and Shepherd note, I saw the JHM devo from the 20th, which I hadn’t seen yet, was based on this verse:
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. PUT ON the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil…Above all, TAKING the SHIELD OF FAITH wherewith ye shall be able to quench ALL THE FIERY DARTS OF THE WICKED. Ephesians 6:10-11, 14-17
I believed the Lord was continuing to confirm! Then this morning I saw this one which has even more confirmations. It confirms how our spiritual, emotional, and even physical lives are at stake in this battle with our enemies in the spiritual realm (and are dependent on our revelation of and use of our armor that God has supplied). It also has continued confirmations of Offense and Defense, and Head-to-Toe” protection (from parts 1 and 2).
For the word of God is alive, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. – Hebrews 4:12
Jesus Was A Master Swordsman…He Used The Sword Of The Spirit!
In the wilderness Satan tempted Jesus…. Three times Jesus said, “It is written.” He didn’t say, I’m thinking positively about it.” He said, “It is written…” and He quoted the Word of God.
YOUR SPIRITUAL, EMOTIONAL, and PHYSICAL LIFE DEPENDS ON YOUR SWORDSMANSHIP. The sword has two functions. First of all, it’s a weapon of attack. It is (an) OFFENSIVE weapon in the armor of God. Secondly, it’s a weapon of DEFENSE for the WHOLE BODY. While the helmet only protects the head and the breastplate only protects the chest, the sword can protect you FROM THE GROUND TO OVER YOUR HEAD (HEAD TO TOE).
David said, “Though a host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident” (Psalm 27:3). Every time Satan attacks you—high, low, wide—you can defend yourself with the power and the authority of the Word of God. ~ excerpts from JHM devo (Copyright © John Hagee Ministries)
I believe these confirmations indicate that God is truly emphasizing that this message is critical at this time for His people to grasp and walk in – that these revelations can make the difference in life and death (both physically and spiritually) – and that it’s vital for us to get established in them now!
I pray the Lord brings this across the path and into the hearts of whoever needs to receive this word for the battles they’re walking through now or will face in the days ahead. May we all be interceding for those whose lives and faith hang in the balance and be praying to thwart all plots and schemes of the enemy against God’s people and this nation in the coming days.Blessings and Prayers,  (follow up – Relentless SHIELD and ARMOR confirmations – here)
SHIELD AND SHEPHERD – part 2
(Part 2 – continued from same day; part 1 here)
This weekend, as we asked the Lord whether this message was to be shared publicly here, He gave Jesse this confirming word from Rick Renner’s Sparkling Gems. Again, this word speaks not only to the powerful protection He has given us through our shield of faith, but also to the essential role we have to lift it up and keep it in place. This is a message He wants to remind His people of at this time:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Take Up Your Shield of Faith!

Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. —  Ephesians 6:16

Many people wrongly assume that the shield of faith is the most important part of their spiritual weaponry because Paul said, “Above all, taking the shield of faith…” (Ephesians 6:16). But if you think about it for a moment, you see that the shield of faith can’t be more important than the “loinbelt of truth” — the Word of God — because faith comes from God’s Word (Romans 10:17).

So just what did Paul mean when he said, “Above all….”? The phrase “above all” is taken from the Greek phrase epi pasin. The word epi means over. The word pasin means all or everything. So rather than stating that the shield of faith is more important than the other pieces of armor, the phrase epi pasin describes the position faith should have over the other pieces of armor. It could be better translated, “Out in front of all….” or Covering all….”

Therefore, the phrase “above all” emphatically tells you that your “shield of faith” is never meant to be held next to your side or timidly held behind your back. Faith is supposed to be out front where it can completely cover you and protect you from harm — especially when you are marching forward to take new ground for the Kingdom of God!

Just as Roman soldiers kept their shields out in front of them to defend them from deadly attacks and blows from their enemies, God wants you to tightly grip your shield of faith while keeping it out in front where it can protect and defend you. When your shield of faith is kept in this out-front and covering position, it can do what God intended for it to do! This is why Paul continues to say, “…ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.” ...

But it is also very important for you to notice that Paul says, “…Taking the shield of faith….” The word “taking” is from the word analambano, which is a compound of the Greek words ana and lambano. … When compounded together, it means to take something up in hand or to pick something back up again. This plainly means your shield of faith can be either picked up or laid down. It places the responsibility on you as to whether you will use your shield of faith or allow yourself to go through life unprotected.

If you want to employ the use of your faith, you must make the choice to take it in hand and to place it in front of you. It will not assume its defensive position over your life by accident. Your faith will only operate in your life the way it was meant to do when you choose to pick it up and put it where it belongs — out in front.

If you ever go into battle without your shield of faith, you are making a mistake you will seriously regret. Keeping your shield of faith in position is not an option if you intend to overcome the enemy and win the battles that are before you. Therefore, I urge you not to go into battle without this all-important piece of your spiritual armor. If you fail to keep that protective shield in front of you, you leave yourself exposed to the deadly strikes of your adversary, the devil.

On the other hand, as you choose to daily take up your shield of faith, holding it out in front of you so that it completely covers every part of your life, you put yourself in position to thwart every single attack that the enemy throws your way!

Prayer
Lord, I thank You for giving me a shield of faith that completely covers me from HEAD TO TOE (confirmation from words about Buckler from part 1). I don’t have to constantly succumb to the devil’s attacks. By holding my shield of faith above all and out in front so that it covers me completely as You intended it to do, I can be protected from the attacks that the enemy would like to wage against me. Forgive me for the times I’ve let my shield lay at my side while I stayed busy complaining about the devil giving me fits. I realize now that it’s up to me to pick up my shield of faith and put it where it belongs. So with Your help, Lord, I am reaching out right now to pick it up, to hold it out front, and to do my part to make sure the enemy has no access to me!  I pray this in Jesus’ name!

Confession
I confess that God has given me a shield of faith that protects me against the works of the enemy. If I will hold my faith out front — and today I commit myself to doing just that — God’s Word guarantees that this mighty shield will thwart the fiery darts that the enemy wants so desperately to throw at me. My shield will cause those darts to bounce off, thereby protecting me from being struck. I will walk with my shield of faith out in front so that it covers me as God intended for it to do. As long as I do that, I can be confident that I will move forward in life without the enemy winning any full-scale attack against me! I declare this by faith in Jesus’ name!

Questions

1. Can you say that your faith is alive and active and out in front of you as God intended for it to be, or have you allowed your faith to become inactive so that it lags behind?

2. Please answer these questions honestly, for a truthful answer may prevent future disaster in your life: Did you once walk in faith more consistently than you do today? Have you allowed your shield of faith to drop to your side instead of maintaining it in the forward position that allows it to defend you from the enemy’s attacks?

3. What steps are you going to take to reignite your faith and return it to its position as the mighty shield of protection that God intended for it to be? What kind of plan are you going to follow to see your faith recharged, reenergized, and repositioned out in front of your life?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This devo referenced an earlier devo on the same subject (Sep 6). In the other devo, Rick highlighted the importance of keeping our shield of faith soaked and saturated with the Ephesians 5:26 “water of the WORD” (as soldiers did with literal water) so that it will effectively extinguish every flaming arrow of the enemy.
“…When a believer lifts his shield high and holds it out in front of him where it belongs, that shield divinely energizes the believer to stand bravely against every assault of the devil. (It) becomes dynamically and supernaturally empowered to act as an IMPENETRABLE wall of defense against the enemy’s tactics. …The shield of faith is so powerful that it makes you fortified, invulnerable, and armed to the teeth! It equips you to hold an ironclad position. It turns you into a spiritual tank so you have the ability to move your position forward without taking any losses yourself. This doesn’t mean the devil won’t try to stop you, but when the shield of faith is held out in front of you as it ought to be, you become divinely empowered ‘to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.’
… Romans 10:17 says that our faith is increased by hearing the Word of God. In Ephesians 5:26, the Word of God is likened to water. So as we regularly submit ourselves to the Word of God, we soak our faith with the Word…. And when our faith becomes Word-saturated or Word-soaked, it becomes just like the soldier’s water-saturated shield. In other words, it will be so heavily inundated with the water of God’s Word that even if a fiery dart pierces our shield, the huge amount of Word in us will extinguish the flames....
So I urge you today to take the time to soak your faith in the Word of God. Let the water of the word so saturate your faith that if the enemy tries to launch a surprise attack on you – your health, your finances, your marriage, your children, your family, your church, your business, or your job – he will find that his fiery darts have no impact …! Refuse to let yourself become the devil’s victim! Hold your Word-doused shield of faith high in front of you so it completely covers your life. … That faith shield will protect you from anything the enemy throws at you through the dynamic, explosive power of God!”
Praying we will all receive and walk in the fullness of the revelations of the Lord as our SHIELD and SHEPHERD so that
~ through faith we are shielded by His power – that through faith He becomes the Ephesians 6 IMPENETRABLE Shield around us, extinguishing EVERY flaming arrow of the enemy so that NO WEAPON formed against us will prosper
~ and that we will know, hear, and follow ONLY the voice of our Shepherd and receive His provision for all our needs.
We pray that by experientially knowing Him as SHIELD and SHEPHERD in these ways, we will successfully navigate around and overcome every obstacle and attack of the enemy in order to fulfill our Kingdom assignments.
Again, I believe these revelations can make the difference between life and death in any generation, but that it’s especially important for us ALL to be established in them in these last days.
SHIELD AND SHEPHERD – part 1
Last week the Lord brought to my remembrance some of the things He ministered to me last year about Him being an IMPENETRABLE SHIELD around us (and IN US as an IMPENETRABLE SHIELD around specific parts of our bodies that may be under attack). I truly believe these things He spoke to me can save our lives; I believe they saved mine:
~ He had SURROUNDED me with passages about Him being our SHIELD (pun intended), reminding me that He surrounds us with His unfailing love and His favor as a SHIELD of NEVER-FAILING protection (Psalm 5:12; 32:10, I Cor 13:7-8).
~ He showed me that, by FAITH, HE HIMSELF is the Ephesians 6 SHIELD around us ~ an IMPENETRABLE SHIELD, ABLE TO EXTINGUISH EVERY (not some, not many, but EVERY) FLAMING ARROW OF THE ENEMY SO THAT NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST US CAN PROSPER; through FAITH we are SHIELDED BY HIS POWER (Psalm 28:7, Isaiah 54:17, Eph 6:10-18, I Pt 1:5).
~ Additionally, He expounded on this by repeatedly referring to the word “BUCKLER.” Though I’d heard this word in Scripture, I had no idea what it was. While some bucklers were small round shields, providing only partial protection, He was speaking in terms of The-Lord-is-my-Shieldbeing a Buckler that surrounds us, protecting the whole body from “HEAD TO TOE”!!!!! (Psalm 18:2-3 KJV; 35:1-3 AMP; 91:4 AMP, Proverbs 2:7, II Samuel 22 -see v31KJV, Easton’s Bible Dictionary)
Since this was fresh on my heart last week, I prayed again about these things. That night I asked the Lord to speak some specific things to us about a situation we’ve been battling. He answered by giving us a word entitled “SHIELDED“!! It not only spoke directly to the things I’d asked about, but in the same terminology He’d brought back to mind earlier that day. It talked about Him teaching us how to live armored and shielded and instructing us how to defend ourselves from the fiery darts/flaming arrows of the enemy! I was so blessed and encouraged that He was re-confirming these things He’d just reminded me of again!
After this, Jesse read from our healing confessions book. I was praying God would have him open to the verses about Him being our Shield as further confirmation, but instead he opened to the page that says:
“The Lord is a GOOD Shepherd. His sheep are in need of nothing; we do not lack ANY GOOD THING! (Psalm 23, John 10:10-11, 14-15, Psalm 34:9-10)” (More confirmation of our incalculable, limitless provision through the glorious riches of our inheritance – no lack).
“God does not withhold ANY Good thing from me and Jesus called healing Good. He said it is the “children’s bread.” Healing is Basic, Daily Provision for those in covenant with Jesus. In His great mercy and compassion Jesus even healed those outside the covenant who had faith. How much more does He heal us, not only by His compassion, but on the higher authority of His blood bought covenant. Jesus, Himself, is the “children’s bread” of healing, broken so we could be made whole. I take of His body and blood through communion, remembering His body was given for my healing, and His blood for the forgiveness of all my sins! (Psalm 84:11, Luke 6:7-10, Matthew 12:9-13, Mark 3:1-5, Matthew 15:21-18, John 6:32-35, 48-58, Luke 22:19-20, I Corinthians 11:23-32)”
For a split second, when I realized it wasn’t the page I hoped for, I was tempted to be disappointed. But I quickly cast those thoughts off so I could hear and absorb the wonderful promises God was emphasizing from this page. As he read, I remembered that this was the very same page the Lord had given us on the very first day this intense battle began last year. He had made sure we knew that opening here was NO COINCIDENCE by confirming these promises the VERY NEXT MORNING in a prophetic word He gave centered around Him being our GOOD SHEPHERD who meets all our needs. Since He had given this to us at such a critical time last year and confirmed it immediately, this spoke to me that this revelation of Him as our Shepherd who meets all our needs was just as vital for us to be holding onto as the revelation He was relentlessly surrounding us with that He is our Impenetrable Shield.
The next morning, I was delighted to see that HE DID IT AGAIN!!!  I awoke to find another Good Shepherd confirmation waiting for me in my inbox through this devo from Ed Traut!!!!!
****************
Psalms 23:1 “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” NKJV
  • A shepherd nurtures, provides, and leads.shepherd.2
  • The choice of shepherd can often determine the results of our lives – we have the very best Shepherd ever.
  • Because He is our Shepherd, we have all our needs met.
Prayer: Lord I praise you that you are my Good Shepherd and that you are watching over me and my family day and night. I thank you that ALL MY NEEDS ARE TAKEN CARE OF ACCORDING TO YOUR RICHES AND GLORY. Amen. (emphasis mine ~ more confirmation of the glorious riches He has supplied to meet all our needs from the Incalculable Wealth notes!)
****************
As I meditate on receiving this double-edged reminder, what comes to mind is that while a Shield can defend from the attacks of the enemy, it cannot meet all our other needs. By simultaneously giving the revelations of Shield and Shepherd, God is speaking to being both our Offense (Provider, Guide, etc.) and our Defense (Protector). Though the revelation of Protector is also inherent in the analogy of Him as our Shepherd, the additional analogy of Him as our Shield takes this aspect of Him as our Defense to another level.
to be continued… (part 2 here)
SHIELD and SHEPHERD – HFJ15
Last week, as I was encouraging someone to stand in faith for healing, the Lord put on my heart to tell them about the things He quickened to me last year about Him being a SHIELD around me which I believe helped preserve my life. Sharing those revelations with my friend then led to a whole new series of confirmations of these themes.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(I originally shared this series of words with the healing/faith journey group on 1/17, but then also posted them a few days later on FB as well. That series of words can now be seen at the link below. Hope it blesses you!)

Even More Incalculable Wealth – Christ in You; Heaven in You – HFJ14

Here’s the one I mentioned in the last post from the night of the 13th. It was based on this verse:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. II Cor 4:7
“… I will persuade you concerning My power in you and My ability to make you a high achiever and a life changer. … The secret of your power is in cherishing the TREASURE THAT I HAVE PLACED WITHIN YOU, WHICH IS CHRIST IN YOU, THE HOPE OF GLORY. … OPEN YOUR HEART AND LET ME PULL THE TREASURE OUT. LET ME SHOW YOU WHAT HAVING HEAVEN LIVING INSIDE OF YOU IS LIKE.” (emphasis mine, Copyright © Ivan Tait, Letters from God)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

This one was not only confirmation of all the things from the theme from the Incalculable Wealth notes again, but also that same day I’d been listening to the recording Jesse made of these healing confessions from my book, and the one that was particularly quickened to me that day was –

“THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN NOW RESIDES IN ME; I lay hold of the full revelation of His Kingdom IN ME so that it manifests in my life, and I advance (it to others)…”

So when I read this about “Heaven living inside you” I knew the Lord was emphasizing that again too. That same confession in the book (in its full version) also says,

“There is NO sickness or disease in Heaven….”

So, let’s not only be meditating on the full implications of CHRIST IN US and the glorious riches of our inheritance in Him that’s IN US, but let’s also include a new facet of this theme ~ meditating on the truth that the KINGDOM of Heaven IN US. Since He’s been emphasizing this theme relentlessly (of Christ in us and of the glorious, limitless, incalculable riches/treasures/wealth in us through Him), I think this is a revelation He really wants us to camp out on and stay with until it’s so deeply rooted and established that we know it in every fiber of our being and thinking ~ until it’s heart revelation that’s producing life transformation and covenant manifestation!

Since our verse for this week is about being RELENTLESS – not letting the enemy steal, uproot, or choke out the seed of the Word – and not stopping with partial victory, but persevering until we have the FULL VICTORY – it seems the fact that He’s being so RELENTLESS to surround us with this revelation means we should be relentless to plant this revelation – of CHRIST IN US and HEAVEN IN US and the GLORIOUS, INCALCULABLE, LIMITLESS riches of our inheritance IN US through Him – until we’re seeing not just a 30 or 60 fold manifestation, but the FULL 100 fold manifestation in every area of our lives!! Help us God! We can continue on with other confessions in the coming weeks – but let’s make this an EVERY WEEK one (a daily meditation) ~ one of the foundational, all-encompassing ones that the rest are built on.

Got another awesome set of words last night, but am concerned about being overwhelming by sending too much at once. Will send soon.

Blessings and prayers!

Feeding on God’s Word

A.W. Tozer

Oh, how I love Your law! It is my meditation all the day.—Psalm 119:97

“I remember James M. Gray, the noted Bible teacher, telling of a Christian brother, a Michigan farmer, whose spiritual life had suddenly blossomed until there was an overflowing of God’s presence. Many in the man’s community recognized the change in his life and personality and sought spiritual counsel from him. Dr. Gray had opportunity to ask the man about the transformation of his spiritual life and witness.

“Dr. Gray, I began to devote myself to the Scriptures for my own need,” the man humbly explained. “Something happened when God opened my spiritual understanding as I studied…. I cannot really explain what the Lord is doing for me and through me, but it has come through prayerful meditation in the Word of God.”

None of us can expect to get the RICH, TRANSFORMING BLESSINGS from God apart from the Scriptures…. (emphasis mine)

Too many … are content to reach for a commentary on the Scriptures. What we need most is to search the Scriptures for ourselves. (A.W. Tozer, Men Who Met God, 47.)”

“…Deliver me today from the short-cuts, and help me to discipline myself to long, concentrated study of the Scriptures themselves. Amen.”

Then these confirmations:
“If you want victory, but you’re not going to be a serious student of the Word of God then you might as well forget it. It’s not gonna work. ….Some people learn a lot when they listen to other people teach, but nothing like what you get when you study for yourself. You can’t let someone else spoon feed you the Word all the time; you can’t survive on second hand faith.” ~ Joyce Meyer

This week our Pastor also said something the Lord spoke to me many years ago in a dream, “Get into the Word, and get the Word into you!”

May we continually plant His Word in our lives so that it becomes deeply rooted and established, abides in us, and as we persevere in it that it bears much ENORMOUS fruit that remains, producing eternal impact for His Kingdom and Glory! (Mt 13, Mk 4, Lk 8, John 14-15)

(The Lord also gave us another confirmation the night of the 13th which I may share later.)

The Pressure Is On

Gloria Copeland

Let patience have her perfect work. – James 1:4

“You have prayed the prayer of faith. You believe you have received the answer. You are confessing the Word. You are standing on God’s promise. You are expecting a miracle. But instead of getting better, things may even seem worse. Soon all you can think about is how tired you are, how fed up you are with waiting for your answer to come. You’ve had it with this situation and you’re about to say those two words that cost more believers their victory than anything else in the world: I quit!

Sound familiar? Sure it does. Everyone who has ever walked by faith has gone through times like that. Tough times. Maybe those times have tripped you up in the past. Maybe the devil has used them to pressure you into letting go of your faith. But I want you to know something. It doesn’t have to be that way. There is a force so powerful, it can carry you through those hard times in triumph. It is a force so dynamic, the devil cannot stop it. It is a force that comes from the heart and character of God Himself, and it will take you from here to victory…every time. It’s the force of patience.

Patience is the force that keeps you from fainting under pressure. It is the quality that does not surrender to circumstances or succumb under trial.

“That sounds great, Gloria, but I don’t have that kind of patience!”
If you’ve made Jesus the Lord of your life, you do! It’s part of the fruit of the spirit and God equipped you with it the moment you were born again. He placed it into your re-created human spirit. (read Galatians 5:22-23). God didn’t give you just any old type of patience, either. He imparted to you His very own patience, and The Amplified Bible says He is extraordinarily patient (2 Peter 3:9). God has what it takes to get through hard times. He has the power to persevere until circumstances line up with His Word. Because you are born of His Spirit, you have that power too!

But just as water won’t flow from a faucet unless you open the valve and let it through, the reservoir of patience God has put within you won’t flow unless you release it by an act of your will.

I know that the pressure is on, and it can be intense. But patience will see you through. Open that valve, and let patience go to work!  Scripture Reading: Luke 8:5-15″ (© 1999 Kenneth Copeland Ministries)

Concluding #3 – “He Will Bring it to Pass” – and Starting Confession #4 – HFJ11

It took me a while to catch on that the following passages the Lord surrounded us with in the first week of the New Year were not only an answer to my specific cries at that time, but were also confirmations of our verse, “God is faithful to ALL of His promises…” (Psalm 145:13-14)

The LORD will fulfill [His purpose] for me…. Psalm 138:8 NIV  (Or –The LORD will perfect that which concerns meAMP)

What I have said, that will I bring about; what I have planned, that will I do. Isaiah 46:11

God is not a man, that He should lie, nor the son of men, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill? Numbers 23:19

I will not violate my covenant or alter what my lips have uttered. Psalm 89:34

This one also came up several times last week:

Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed. Proverbs 16:3

And then this one which tied both of these themes together of rolling our cares on Him, and of Him bringing His promises to pass:

Commit your way to the Lord [roll and repose each care of your load on Him]; trust (lean on, rely on, and be confident) also in Him and He will bring it to pass. Psalm 37:5

These have all been significant to us over the years as He’s given them to us in other seasons, but I was so immensely grateful that He surrounded us with these again at this time in answer to our specific prayers – and also as additional confirmations of our Psalm 145 confession/verse during this time).

Of course, those who have been around me long know I’m always quick to say that He also often emphasizes to us that this does not absolve us of our responsibility to respond to what He tells us/shows us to do in the obedience of faith. Which leads us to our confession we’re focusing on this week…
Confession #4 ~

“God’s Word IS SEED that I plant in my heart in any area I have a need in order to receive the promised harvest. As I faithfully plant God’s Word in my heart, it continually grows in me, whether I’m asleep or awake. I RELENTLESSLY hold on to God’s Word and REFUSE to let the devil steal it through unbelief, uproot it through attacks that try to disprove God’s Word, or choke it out through distractions with other things! I continue diligently and consistently in the Word with FAITH and PATIENCE and receive the desired harvest in my life. I WILL NOT STOP when I see only some results! I do not settle for partial victory, for only the 30 fold or 60 fold return ~ only the stalk, or the head. I PERSEVERE and receive the full kernel in the ear ~ the 100 fold return, the COMPLETE MANIFESTATION!” (Luke 8:1-15, Matthew 13:1-23, Mark 4:1-20, 26-29, Hebrews 6:11-12)

More Confirmations of INCALCULABLE WEALTH!‏ – HFJ10

Here are some additional confirmations about the glorious riches of our inheritance, the LIMITLESS and INCALCULABLE WEALTH themes that God’s been emphasizing for months! (You may have seen these posts on FB already ~ Post 1 from January 13, 2014 ~ pasted below for those who don’t have FB)

Read the Will and Receive Your Inheritance

Gloria Copeland

That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith…. And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.– Galatians 3:14, 29

“… I became an heir to a fortune more than 40 years ago in Little Rock, Arkansas, when I gave my life to Jesus. At that moment I was born again into the richest family ever known. I was born into the royal family that owns and operates the universe. I received an inheritance so vast, it will take me all of eternity to fully comprehend it. Some people get excited about tracing their natural family history. … You and I ought to be that way about our heritage as believers. Our ancestors are the greatest men and women who ever walked the face of the earth. We can trace our lineage back to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, King David…all the way to Jesus. Think about that! Those are our forefathers.

“Now, wait a minute,” you may say. “Those are Jewish men. They lived in the land of Canaan and Israel. You’re an American from Arkansas! You’re not part of that family.” No, not physically. But spiritually, according to the Bible, yes, I am. And if you’ve made Jesus Christ the Lord of your life, you are too. Galatians 3 says so. As a Christian, you are the seed of Abraham! That means everything God promised him belongs to you. It has been passed down to you through Jesus.

Abraham’s blessing is your inheritance! It has been willed to you by the Word of God. And while you need to read the will—the Word—to find out what is rightfully yours, you can only receive it by faith. Faith gives us access to the favor and grace of God…and it gives God access to our lives. It opens the door to our inheritance.

So start reading the Word with a new perspective…. Read it and believe it like you would a will that detailed your inheritance. Enjoy the riches that are yours by virtue of the new birth. Discover for yourself that you truly are an heir to the LIMITLESS RESOURCES of the family of God!”

Here are excerpts from two of the other words the Lord gave us when He first began surrounding us on every side with confirmations of the “Incalculable Wealth” notes. He’s recently been heavily emphasizing this theme again!!

These two are from Ivan Tait’s “Letters from God”

UNLIMITED RESOURCES

But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 KJV
“Resources are the necessary provisions you need to build your indestructible future. … Don’t limit your potential by obsessing over your limitations. Limitations are the opportunities for My grace. They are the diving board into the supernatural power of My Spirit. Those who limit Me by reducing My power change Me and, therefore, do not have Me. They only see pieces of Me instead of all of Me. Your resources include all of Me, not just a piece. Men insult Me by making Me powerless in their doctrines and beliefs. They forget that some things require supernatural resources in famine and drought. Know this: I measure the heavens with a span. I name the stars, and I know the number of hairs on your head. The nations are like a drop in the bucket, and the oceans are one tear drop. I am your Resource. I am All in All. I am your Source. I am all you need, all you will ever need, and I am all yours.”

UNCOUNTABLE WEALTH

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. Ephesians 1:3
Everything you need to be complete has already been deposited into your spiritual bank account. … it is already waiting for you. All you need is to spend time with me so you can learn your bank account number and how to withdraw your blessings when you need them. Remember, there is no shortage of natural or spiritual provisions in My bank. … No poverty can enter your life again as long as you obey Me; you will be God-wealthy. All the love, health, power, and money you need you will have. You are the richest person in the world. You possess UNCOUNTABLE WEALTH. The world would give everything they own to possess the wealth you have in Me. I have given it to you freely. Don’t squander it or take it for granted. Cherish your blessings every day, and you will never lose them.”

Pray in Faith, Not Fear – HFJ9

Here’s our previous verse in a devo. This reminded me about last year during the most intense part of my battle when God was having to surround me with the reminder to pray in FAITH not in FEAR. That can only happen when our prayers have the solid foundation of the promises of God on which to stand.

Be Answer-Minded
Kenneth Copeland

For the Son of God, Jesus Christ…was not yea and nay, but in him was yea. For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen….– 2 Corinthians 1:19-20

“Oh, God, I feel so sick. My head hurts. My skin hurts. My stomach hurts. I need You to heal me!” Have you ever prayed like that? If so, don’t ever again!

One of the operating principles of faith is to go to God on the basis of His provision—not on the basis of your need. I learned this years ago in the area of healing. I don’t ever go to God and tell Him how sick I am, and then ask for healing. Isaiah 53:5 assures me that Jesus already provided for my healing on the cross. So when my body is experiencing symptoms of illness, I pray by saying:
“I am thanking You, Lord, for providing healing for me. By faith I receive that provision now, in Jesus’ Name. I set myself in agreement with Your Word which says that by His stripes I was healed (see 1 Peter 2:24).

Remember this: If you continue to rehearse your need, you will be so need-minded that it will stunt your faith, and you won’t be able to receive God’s supply. But if you continue to rehearse God’s promise, you’ll become so answer-minded that it will be the most natural thing in the world to simply reach out by faith and receive His provision.
